The Idea is NOT to copy and paste info from other websites based on the common standards for measuring battery life. Someone already has done the hardwork to develop and rank this batteries. However, the purpose of the poll is to get real time info from everyday users, especially in Nigeria, considering the fact that apart from other technical components that affects battery life, there are other non-technical factors, primarily weather, which also affects battery life. The selection of the brands was based on the trending smartphones brands on 3 of Nigeria's biggest online stores. As a matter of fact, I use Gionee myself. I love the phone. But, Gionee didn't come close amongst the trending brands of smartphones.
