Good day nairalanders. I plan getting a ride soon but am torn between Lexus RX300 and Toyota Sienna.

I need advice on which is better in terms of maintenance, fuel economy, cost of spare parts and durability.

Used car prices aint fixed tho. One can get a Lx330 from 1.8-2.4m

Sienna has many models.... be specific!

2001 RX300 and Sienna 2002

The Lexus is a luxurious CUV 5 seater while the sienna is a van 7 seater. Both car came with the same V6 engine very rugged and capable but the lexus has 10hp more than the sienna.

Lexus is a 4WD/FWD while the sienna is a fWD, there is no competition here, the lexus beats the sienna hands down though the symphony edition of the sienna comes close but it's best isn't good enough besides the mpg of both cars are identical if your family isn't much get urself the lexus.

The only advantage the sienna has over the lexus is cargo space and it's less of a robber Magnet.
