@hugman, it neither displays connection successful nor failure but mainly scramble. I go to ethernet configuration and press link, which may get connected sometimes. How can I get connected always without tampering decoder setting anymore? Thanks in anticipation of your prompt response

Download the firmware for q28g on page 22 and install it on your qsat b4 your qsat will start working


METHODS TO UPGRADE QSAT FIRMWARE

UPGRADE OF FIRMWARE IN QSAT RECEIVER

1.Remove sim card b4 upgrading

2. is wise to use generator because any blackout in power supply render your iks qsat receiver dead on the spot

3.download precise firmware of the receiver into USB flash drive file usually end in .bin

4. insert USB flash to your iks receiver
on remote control
click menu button -
click upgrade
click USB/card upgrade
select the precise qsat firmware and click to start upgrading
after it completed your qsat receiver

@hugman. I have a q28g which has never been stable since I bought it always scramble after 1 min n return n scramble again but I met a dude within my neighborhood using q23g n his own is stable. I even watched man u ucl playoff 2nd leg n for d duration of the game it didn't scramble he is using 3g config with an unlocked huawei e303 etisalat modem but with Airtel sim. I bought dsame modem from Airtel but it does not connect at all. Please I want to know if 3g can't work in q28g

I only test q28g with direct Sim, pls change to another network MTN or glo, if airtel is not stable

@hugman. I have tried mtn n Glo but not stable. They get scrambled every 2mins. But a guy I saw using a 3g modem not too far from my house with an Airtel sim in a modem in q23g his **3n n **5n do not scramble. I want to know if q28g n q23g use diff server. Thanks

I want you to do a test on your qsat step below
1. Goto *ax or *Mc channel When you qsat Start showing quickly remove the Sim
And tell me how many minutes or second b4 it will scrambled and loose signal

Be patient, is mostly cause by poor Internet connection,
For the time been try all mobile network and use the network that is less unstable.

Qsat q28g have t2 port where you input your local outdoor antenna and watch t2 channels, but at the moment qsat not Interested in opening t2 scramble channel while t2 free channels are coming to Nigeria very soon

20 second? That decoder have poor storage to store signal that why your signal is not stable pls do a factory reset and ensure that your software is up to date.

I use q23g and 3n has neva shown b4 buh use to get 5n buh since my installer got me the new account after the previous expired it hasn't bin on my channel list...buh he claimed when he searched @ his workshop he did got them

Guys please I can't check my acct numba. I can't connect to server too cos when I check Settings/XCAM Setup what I see is Patch, Sharing and SpyCam which am unable to view. My last Qeen has AvatarCam which allows me to know ma account number.

Spycam is the account for q26g and q28g pls make sure you are using the latest firmware and also try change ur sim network

Some channels are more stable than the others
if your qsat is not working or unstable pls be patience qsat q26g and q28g
