Did barca bid for hazard? The answer is no. Hazard is a play-maker as well, he can play AMF(iniesta's position), LMF n RMF. How are you sure he wouldn't make barca first team or you just conclude that out of sentiment. Hazard would suit barca very well but unfortunately, Chelsea are not ready to negotiate with any club(even Real Madrid) for his service. Chelsea rarely sell their important players

You have to look at the desired quality you want in the right department and then scour the market to look size up the availability.
We have a capable group..... The issues for me are more the inconsistencies and underperformance, once we sort that out coupled with the right application and mentality, extra personnel is not necessary.

Exactly!! Everyone knows this. All my Gayners friends have been complaining on Twitter and FB. I still wonder why Pant-hankie feels okay with Le Prof's lunacy of not getting another striker. This is glaring to even the blind.

Man Utd might have signed Martial for an enormous amount out of late planning (blame Gaal), but it shows we showed determination to get a striker, albeit late.

Signed a striker of what quality? The top quality ones available were not going to be dished out by their respective clubs due to the dearth of like for like or better replacements in the market....
A team whose attacking midfielders have the capabilities to cushion the impact of not having another option in addition to the ones at the club....The options we have with out attacking players is enough to compliment Girouds wastefulness whenever he decides he cant be bothered.
So what should we have done? Go into FIFA 2015 and manufacture an elite striker? Are you a dunce?
How did we fare last season without another option? Where did we lose it and did we actually drop majority of our points because of not having another top option upfront? THINK you big dumdum!
Name the elite strikers available in the world as we speak (let me even stretch your football knowledge a bit) and lets assess their availability and the potential replacements for them should Wenger have managed to snare one of them! .. It is one thing to find a top player, it is another thing for the selling club to sell the top player. Afterall, Chelsea tried to no avail to get John Stones. Tottenham tried four times to no avail to get that West Brom striker.

Whether Wenger showed serious ambition or not, no one knows. We can only but speculate.
