The best you can do is if the file is on the memory card of the android phone,just use 200naira buy mmc usb stick from any computer or phone accessory shop.put your memory card in it and connect to srt4922,and is done.

@pofolo I remember using Zarchiver its good for unzipping with Smartphone but downloading it into STB is the problem. i faced the same challenges ,with USB Cable from phone to decoder using USB port on the decoder & it never worked rather it will be Charging the the phone instead so pls advice if their are any particular type of cable brand to be used that will help bcus this method is more convenient than going to Café most times. Yes... USB cable differs. Some only charges your phone while yori can use some to transfer files and all that. I did my upgrade (4669XII) with my phone. So i guess the problem is from your cable.

How to upgrade up decoder using a smartphone.
- Download the software and unzip with B1 archives and store it in your memory
card.
- connect your phone with ur STD using usb cable
- make sure you enable USB debug on ur phone
- when the STD detect ur phone a window will pump up asking to copy file to computer clink on it.
- on the STD go to external storage
- the content of your memory card will be displaced, search for the software and upgrade ur decoder.

once you have the Zarchiver app on your phone ,and have downloaded your software . click open the Zarchiver app, it will automatically show all your files, select the software in bin format, then extract or open to get the stb format.

Also remember to choose appropriate command ( e.g select USB storage option ) when your phone is connected to the decoder.

It's difficult to tell but i guess you should test the cable to see if it transfers file before buying. I guess all the "follow come" cable can transfer file. Am using a white cable same with my friend but my friend's own only charges the phone.

what I did was to download it on my phone, remove the memory card and insert it unto a card reader then unzipped it with my laptop and finally loading it on my decoder. hope this helps.

Would you like to sacrifice nilsat for cartoon, then track IS20C there is a very good carton channel there. Or motorize the dish.
