From a safety point of view that container was not secured. The picture shows it was a disaster waiting to happen. This adminsitration need to improve the safety culture in Nigeria and the Road safety officers have a lot to do for road safety cool. They should have stopped the driver and arrested him for unsafe driving.

Thank God you said it better. But the FRSC boss would have lost his job if i was the president this is not the first time it is going to happen . We all start complaining when the government start sacking people.

Yeah the driver of the car behind the truck said that he knew that the truck couldn't climb the bridge without the container falling off. That was why he took the pics. The driver of the truck should be jailed. Simple.

You do have serious problem you know, is that person the FRSC how is he going to stop a big truck be realistic with your analysis if you were to be in his position. The company should be fined and the port person that put container on an unsafe truck.

a certain Mr Clinton snapped dis pics n uploaded it on twitter. he tried stopping d vehicle from moving on but fellow Nigerians shouted at him. the blame should be channeled to FRSC, VIO etc dat are in charge of road transport

What should we do with this now undecided

it shows the accident is an avoidable one , check left side of the container you would see it was already giving way yet the driver never took caution

Where is the sanctity of human life Safety Standards should be set and strictly enforced on heavily loaded trucks plying roads within the metropolis. Secondly, boundries should be built along overhead bridges of such forms to prevent future reoccurences. Meanwhile, RIP to the dead embarassed

What's the point of unearthing the picture of the truck prior to the accident?

Okay the right rear indicates the shock absorber could have been damaged but that's not a definitive proof of absolute blame without examining the truck or recounting the series of event just before it turned over?
u c y we never make head way in desertion making now it has happen right but what do we do not to have a repetition again like charging the owner to court two ways and modules how to curb or stop trailer going on the Bridger if u can use order roads

That's a robust and beautiful lie... The container's bed colour of the accident truck is blue striped with white while the one in this picture is red striped with white, it's another picture entirely; that's my obsevation anyway. I guess you are just trying to corroborate your story by using this as your verisimilitude

Good observation. But then the only true identification here is the container number. Now look again at the pics, the container numbers MATCH.

It's the same truck. Check very well, the container numbers MATCH.

Can't u see the container was not latched? That is absurd. I also take pictures of strange things I see on the road is strange that a truck carrying an unlatched container is allowed to leave the port, and then climb a bridge. It's a disaster waiting to happen.
