Guy, big respect for your sincerity. That's a rare trait in this season of Nairaland tribal baiting.

[size=15pt]I'm just wondering when will yorubas begin to seek their own best interest instead of simply supporting anything they believe is anti-Igbo. When the southsouth quit being anti-igbo and squarely demanded that their own issues be addressed, they have leapfrogged everyone else (including the northerners) in physical development of the region.

Just look at northern cities. Even Potiskum, Damaturu or Dutse is more developed than the Yoruba regional capital, and it doesn't bother them at all. All they are interested is being used in every anti-Igbo scheme.

You are a typical igbo hypocrite, just like your kinsman who opened this thread. If you want to see Ibadan from a Yoruba perspective, you can visit this thread: https://www.nairaland.com/2303392/recent-beautiful-pictures-ibadan-pride/13 . The same Ibadan contributes more to the National commonwealth than any SE city. And on top of that, Cocoa House at Ibadan, Nigeria's first Skyscrapper, is still taller than any building in the entire SE even up till today -- even though it was built in the 60's. If you notice, we South Westerners aren't even putting up a fight on this thread coz you and your fellows are nothing but a bunch of jobless e-touts/louts. Continue wallowing in your stupidity cheesy

They are hoping on the no-man's land(Lagos), as you may have noticed they all claim to come from Lagos. They don't visit their villages and eternally wait for government to develop their towns & villages. I once sent folks to ekporo ekiti and illaje, the pics they sent were disgusting. angry
Re: Typical Ibadan Neighbourhood by kayman77(m): 7:16pm On Sep 04, 2015
I'm sure OP hasn't been to Ibadan for once, that location is a typical local area in Ibadan, there are sophisticated locations in Ibadan...you need to come down and see before passing such comments
