I use my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 as a multimedia computer by linking it wirelesly to my Samsung 55 inch Smart TV (serving here as a huge monitor) via Screen Mirroring and as a universal remote control for my Sony Home Theatre, DSTV Explora and Panasonic air conditioner. All the apps on the Note 3 including Polaris Office (for Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc) were downloaded free from Google Play or already pre-installed on the phone.

I don't use iPhones because perhaps I can't afford them but my younger sister has an iPhone 6 and wants to do exactly what I am using my Note 3 for ie Screen Mirroring etc.

I don't have the faintest idea how it can be done. Please can the experts in the house that own iPhones educate us how to do it.

I just pin pointed some of the additional features that iPhone has that makes it cost more than your LUMINA and BlackBerry because it still does what your LUMINA and BlackBerry can do.... At least you buy lumia and BlackBerry that doesn't do the above 90k+ so when you minuses the amount you buy your lumia and BlackBerry from the price of iPhone, you got the extra cash you spent on the additional features that where not present in BlackBerry and LUMINA.... Just to clarify that the iPhone uses a Sapphire glass and not the Gorilla glass like you mentioned.. it's more scratch proof but shatters quite easily compared to Gorilla glass.

The day I was converted to an IPhone from Android was when I ran a particular game on my Htc same time with my cousin who uses an IPhone 4. The difference in gameplay was stunning I just had to switch. Today I have over 5 Apple products.

For brevity's sake, I will just list some of the features that makes me still to an IPhone 5 till date.

1. Screen: is simply stunning. Gorilla glass that is scratch resistant and displays vivid colours. Other phones that display same are quite few.

2. Compact size: why lug a 5" slate around when a 4" will do just fine and still packs enough features. It even makes the resolution better. This I have compared with note4 and Samsung Galxy S5 screens.

3. The processor handles anything. Fluid performance. Simply!

4. Apps? Enough! There are hardly any very interesting game on Android that's not present on Apple, IMHO though but I'm open to correction

5. Ease of use: ever wondered how Apple phones get to thrive with just one button? While Android still packs 3 till date.the gesture options are just more than enough and you get by anything easily.

6. Compatibility: I use Xender apps, use Vlc to download movies and music online: free.


Lastly, it's timeless, the same hardware design has been held for over 10 years, no need to upgrade each and every time, sell and resell, just upgrade software and you are good to go.

All the Samsung devices I've ever used were able to print wirelessly (Note 3, S5, and S6). I currently have and use a wireless printer with my Android phone.

I'm sure other Android devices print via wireless as well.

I once stood at the front desk of Etisalat experience center at Allen avenue with my iPhone 5. Their service was horribly slow so typed a text on my phone which reads "YOUR SERVICE IS TOO SLOW", copied and paste to fill the whole page and then sent about 10copies to their printer that was on the Wifi. I was being attended to when one of their staffs came with the printouts to ask his colleagues who sent the printout. I actually went there to buy an Nano sim (iphone being the first phone to use it).

In my Office in Ikeja GRA then, our office was using a duplex building. Instead of climbing the stairs with my Laptop to connect to the printer stationed upstairs before printing a 300page proposal sent to me for printing, I will access my mail on my Iphone and send the document to the printer's WiFi while doing other things on my laptop without leaving my desk until after some minutes that I believe the documents must have been printed completely.

When you get another phone that does something similar, come for a second class.

Lolzz, you actually don't know about both os. it is like this. iOS has like 68% of the functions of android while android has 98 percent function of ios. I have both. Android in general got more functionality than iOS and Windows. Android doesn't lag when it is Nexus ,Google play editions of Samsung, Reputable OEM like jiayu, xiomo and zopo. Many android lags because you have excess freedom and you overload it too much. I laughed when people talk about no good compass app, loss of note taking and other stuffs. Did you even use android before saying that. iClould can never be compared to Google cloud computing. To be honest, iOS is more superb but that doesn't meanbit functions more than Android. There are lots of apps that are over superior than that of iOS counterpart. Both OS kill their opponents in each aspects. As for me, I prefer my Android phone than my iPhone because I can't work with ios without PC.

To add on iOS, the cydia tweaks are mind blowing shaaa. If not sweeter than tweaks android. I discovered that both os tweaks are inspired by their rivals. Android is way too loaded compared to ios. Apple loaded iOS 8 a lil bit more than ios 7 hence it's unstability.

Dude don't go too far ehnn, my symbian back then does these things seamlessly. I mean one time thing, regarding Nano sim (yes, Apple introduced it first) does that mean anything. Do you know the number for things android introduced first? Do you know the number of features on iOS 7 till ios 8.4 that was stolen from other os and uis? When ios 9 debuts, u will still see more of it

Surface pro 3 is more or less a pc and Microsoft achieved that success cos it's like a mobile and portable version of a pc hence users being able to still do their normal pc routines on it. Ipads are blown up iPhones. The next version of ipad 12 inches or something shld run macintosh but we'll ios 9 cld have been fully optimised to run on a bigger sized device

Symbian with wifi? Guy take it easy with the lies now common. I used symbian phone too(N90, N91, N92) yes they print with cable and maybe bluetooth but through wifi? When did wifi printers even entered the market.? And please we're talking smartphones here(iOS, Android OS, Blackberry OS, Windows phones)

Where in my initial post did you read Microsoft coming up with a 4GB ram lumia? Read and learn before u rush to reply. I thought u said Microsoft is all about softwares, lol double mouthed mouth. Now they need to bump up the hardware specs to win customers but when droid oems does that then it's poor android.
