The picture is after d washing 2days of drying wood shavings is applied and ventillation is allowed for a minimum of 7 days This is to allow d broader rest after washing with disinfectant

After 7days d birds arrived on a thursday and d necessary things needed are fire pot, block ventilation with water prove , I used there cartoon to reduce their movement by demacating d broader this is done to enable them stay close to keep worm, The first drug I adminster is vitamin + antibiotics for 4days See pics

Nice one. It means your broilers will be around 16 weeks by Xmas. They will be very very big o. I will be brooding mine in about 3 or 4 weeks by God's grace. 11 or 12 weeks old with good management should be large enough. 1 Like 1 Share |

Its just about 15wks from now so for december broiler where u consider weight size and comb look which influences market price I don't think 15 - 16wks is to much at good method of feeding is bad 1 Like 2 Shares |

U are so on point! I want to stock now too o, but my fear is this too much rain..... Cuz it's not very good for chicks. They die easily during rainy season and very vulnerable to diseases. Am just confused and tempted cuz doc is cheaper now. From September it will hike! noeloge82: |

Yea from September d price will jump then for ur broader just secure it well and d most common disease during rainy season is cosidious which is easily contained with embazyn forte and other anti cocci drugs do it regular antibiotics and lasota then no trouble till sales 10 Likes 2 Shares |

Lighten d charcoal outside and bringing it in in d broader is good but a drop of chacoal on ur wood shaving can change d day mean while when u light d chacoal within 2mins d burning flam rises and d smoke disapears and mind u if ur hit is not ok ur birds will be clustering together and this will lead to early mortality |

The broilers are doing great as at 8days mortality rate is minus 1 being as result from transportation streess In this particular broader we have 150 broilers to 150 white cockreal but they would be separeted at 5wks of age 7 Likes 3 Shares

If u broad broiler for 7wks for xmas ur market at xmas will not favour you cos at xmas u see verieties and its always good to be at d top of ur game than begging in ur game For you that wants to start broading by End of sept it means that by xmas sales ur bird will be 11wks its very ok. U will meet up for ur sales but my advice is dat by 6wks of broading switch to Finisher and feed intensively u will meet up with ur target Cheers 6 Likes 2 Shares |

missgray: If u have none leaking broader avoid wet litter and pay attention to ur birds I don't really see anything worst about this season infact broading at this season may pay cos we have higher celebrations going on during d ember months and this raises higher demand for broiler meat |

omo17:From 4wks to xmas the cost of feeding 50 broilers with drugs and feed will be plus or minus 60000 Then after sales u will be looking at a minimum profit of 65000 all things be equal And then if u sell from 3000 and above u will be looking at plus or minus 90000 and above |

Op keep up your good job, please everyone where can i book for white hybrid broilers of good quality, I stay in Ajah, I once built a room size fish pond which I never used and now to be converted to pen house to raise 100 broilers for xmas/new year sales, i only need to roof it and run nets round it. thanks all in advance |
