By backing GEJ in 2011, we had ensured that a non-Yoruba southerner had tasted power on behalf of the ibos and other southern ethnic groups.
By chasing him out in 2015, we brightened our chances of having the presidency sooner than later.
Now, the only ethnic group from the south qualified to rule the country after the tenure of the north is Yoruba.
ibo presidency is out of reckoning indefinitely.

The yorubas have never succeeded in putting one of their own into power since the inception of this country. Obasanjo in 1999 was a northern adopted candidate. The yoruba backed candidate Olu Falae lost woefully.
