Haven lived for the last 200 years, it's hard to see anything worth risking. My whole existence has centered around fear, isolation and dejection. I couldn't marry since I will outlive my wife, I couldn't make love because my strength would kill the woman, I couldn't settle for long in a place because I would have to explain why I wasn't aging.,wheew, what a life!
Due to these reasons and more, I became a traveller, moving from one Continent to another,finally 6 months back, I moved to this small little town called Maplewood. The town was one beautiful country side , filled with thick woodlands perfect for my runs when I transformed . The people here were friendly and hardworking, still I knew it was best for me to stay away and live in the woods, I couldn't risk another exposure.
Fifty miles down the road was another town named Gary Hill, it was far bigger than Maplewood, but a bit noisy and overpopulated. I loved where I was and wasn't planning on leaving until the events of 6 hours before changed everything and consequently the rest of my boring existence.
I am Andrew, a werewolf and this is my story.

Following nice start

I was on my way back from work when I heard a scream, I overlooked it, I heard it again and this time, some pleas "dad, don't, she is sorry, don't start with the beatings again, please dad" a female voice spoke. The next thing I heard was the sound of fists hitting flesh. I became enraged and followed the sound due west. I arrived an isolated house, I went through the back and pushed the man off urging the young girl to call 911 before her mom dies from the beatings. But instead, she was just crying and shaking her head. The next thing I heard was whoosh, the mad dad tried hitting me with a stick but due to my extra senses I dodged it and quickly bundled him to the ground, the fellow was no match for me. I was about pulling off up my shirt to tie the man's hands when I felt my flesh being pierced by a steel, I turned back and in horror saw that the girl I was trying to help just stabbed me, what in God's name is wrong with this demented family. I removed the knife, blood gushed out, she had barely missed my left kidney, what a bittttch I said within.
My distraction gave room for the foolish man to get up, pickup the knife and almost stab me also, in anger I gave a punch so hard he flew backward and his neck snapped due to the force of my punch. The girl screamed and moved to where her dad was, she looked pale after checking for his pulse and finding none. She screamed, you have killed him. Dammit, quickly, I cleaned my blood off the knife and floor and then took off. I was only trying to help but I had only made things worse. I arrived at my home, took some of my things and off I went in my ride straight to Gary Hill. I had lost control again and now I would be wanted for murder, Dammit, I slammed my fists against the dashboard of my truck.
