The Obafemi Awolowo University student's union has again set the pace for others to follow as they announce the completion of payment of school fees for indigent students. These students were supported under the student's union scholarship scheme program of which about 85 of them benefitted from. The Public Relations Officer of the union, comrade Ojedokun Emmanuel Kant who confirmed this on his facebook wall also said that this was a crown to their promise at the pre-electioneering and electioneering period. He also stated that students welfare would not be sacrificed for a stable academic calendar and called for the immediate renovation of the hostels to stop the animalistic lifestyle lived by some of their students. Mtcheeew! Bloody pretentious hypocritical deceivers. They loot the money the SUG generates yearly, which should be used to better the standard of living all the OAU students( over 100,000 students) and decide to use a small amount to "help" pay the fees of 85 students. Nice....but I doubt they would be able to sustain it for long. The era of high school fees is coming. N200000 and more per annum. Oil prices have fallen. |

Now sister,pls tell me what is pretentious abt the SUG,the scholarship programme which they organized is one of a kind,m quite sure that SUG's of other schools would be forced to borrow a leaf.For the records,this present SUG is still young & they've at least to an extent put up various programmes for the betterment of the students.
