The Obafemi Awolowo University student's union has again set the pace for others to follow as they announce the completion of payment of school fees for indigent students. These students were supported under the student's union scholarship scheme program of which about 85 of them benefitted from.

The Public Relations Officer of the union, comrade Ojedokun Emmanuel Kant who confirmed this on his facebook wall also said that this was a crown to their promise at the pre-electioneering and electioneering period.

True, the SU does almost nothing other than walk around hostels with public address systems riddled with sirens. Regardless, this is better than nothing. You made it seem like this present administration has been there from the creation of OAU.

The whole of OAU community combined together is not up to 100,000 not to talk of the students alone which should be around 30,000-35000(depending on admission each year).
secondly,SUG officials don't just spend money,they also have budget that they operate with and which must be approved by the SRC which am sure their schorlaship was part of.
finally,as you can read it was part of their electioneering campaign which they bound to fulfill. Students welfare rely on the school management,the SU can only pressurise them to do the needful.

Stop exposing your ignorance madam. Ife doesn't have part tine programs, student union dues are extremely low, thus, there are no funds whatsoever to embezzle.
