A newly married woman went off to live with her husband. In a very short time, she found that she couldn’t get along with her husband anymore. Their personalities were very different, and she was angered by many of his habits.
Days passed days, and weeks passed weeks. She and her husband never stopped arguing and fighting. But what made the situation even worse was that, according to her tradition, divorce was not an option and she had to bow to her husband and obey his every wish. All the anger and unhappiness in the house was causing her so much distress. Finally, she could not stand his bad temper and dictatorship any longer, and she decided to do something about it. if she can't leave then she had to find an alternative.
This lady, went to see an elderly man who mixed and sold herbs. She told him the situation and asked if he would give her some poison so that she could solve the problem once and for all. The elderly man thought for a while, and finally said, “I will help you solve your problem, but you must listen to me and obey what I tell you.” She agreed, “Yes, sir, I will do whatever you tell me to do as long as I can get rid of this problem.” The old man went into the back room, and returned in a few minutes with a package of herbs. He said, “You can’t use a quick-acting poison to get rid of your husband, because that would cause people to become suspicious. Therefore, I have given you a number of herbs that will slowly build up poison in his body. Every other day prepare some delicious meal and put a little of these herbs in his food. Now, in order to make sure that nobody suspects you when he dies, you must be very careful to act very friendly towards him. Don’t argue with him, obey his every wish, and treat him like a king.”
The lady was so happy. She thanked the elderly man and hurried home to start her plot of murdering her husband.
Weeks went by, months went by, and every other day, she served the specially treated food to her husband. She remembered what the old man had said about avoiding suspicion, so she controlled her temper, obeyed her husband, and treated him like her king . After six months had passed, the whole household had changed. She had practiced controlling her temper so much that she found that she almost never got mad or upset. She hadn’t had an argument in six months with her husband, who now seemed much kinder and easier to get along with. Her husband’s attitude towards her changed, and he began to love his wife like when they first met. He kept telling friends and relatives that his wife was the best thing that happened to him and he was lucky to have found her.
One day, She went back to see the old man to ask for his help again. She said, “Sir, please help me to stop the poison from killing my husband! He’s changed into such a nice man, and I love him more than anything in the world now. I do not want him to die because of the poison I gave him.”
The old man smiled and nodded his head. “My dear, there’s nothing to worry about. I never gave you any poison. The herbs I gave you were vitamins to improve his health. The only poison was in your mind and your attitude toward him, but that has been all washed away by the love which you gave to him.”
Moral : Make a conscious choice to see the good qualities of the person you are in a relationship with , act it out, if necessary and gradually and surely let time heal relationships…

Still the sameold story...... cautions women to sitdown and take orders no mater how shitty or bad it is to her person while men are allowed to do as they wish in the home not minding the emotion of their wives.
When will we have lessons or stories that teach both males and females how to build and run a happy home together rAtnher than telling our women all problems in their homes are their fault? Not to say there arent bad wives o, but at the same time we have bad husbands too who drive their wives crazy and in the endthe woman is sent away or sheis forced to leave for her sanity sake.
I even see posts encouraging wives to cook and prepare baths fo their men if they catch them in bed with another woman. What BS? Was this Gods purpose for creating the woman? To be treated with dissrespect and subjected to psychological torture all her life? Even our culture that permits polygamy never supports adultery or sex outside marriage. Now adays we see men with many wives still sleeping around with sugar girls they are not married to
Bad marriages can be caused by man or woman lets educate all parties involved.

@op, You are right, sometimes our relationship crash not because our partner is bad but because we are.

My friend once dated a lady that thinks the whole world revolves around her and her needs.

I knew the guy was trying but the woman didn't appreciate at all.......

She came to me one day to complain that my friend was not taking good care of her bla bla bla.

After listening to her long story, I asked her. "Can you tell me one thing Mike would say he benefited from dating you if you guys should break up now?"

She couldn't answer.
