Questions Begging For Answers Over Buhari’s Relocation Of Villa Chapel, Mosque by Kingspin(op): 6:40pm On Sep 16, 2015
Vanguard investigation revealed that the Presidency has come under intense pressure over its plan to relocate the Villa Chapel, which according to findings was deliberately built by former President Olusegun Obasanjo, close to his official residence, so that he could enjoy worship and prayers from the comfort of his bedroom.
But since President Buhari is of another faith, it was said that the relocation has become necessary.
However, given that prelude to relocating the Chapel, the Children’s church, which forms part of the Villa Chapel, has allegedly been shut and some rooms, converted to shops for storing food items, 6 questions begging for answers are therefore:
1. What is the distance of the chapel to the President’s bedroom?
2. Is the President’s bedroom not sound-proof and bullet proof?
3. Are external speakers used by the Chapel and Mosque?
4. Is worship held in the Chapel and Mosque daily?

ASO ROCK: What’s is the distance between the President’s bedroom and Villa Chapel?

5. For the Mosque, which was built by former Military President, Ibrahim Babaginda, why wasn’t it moved by five successive administrations of former Head of States, Sanni Abacha, Abdulsalami Abubakar; former Presidents Olusegun Obasanjo, Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, Goodluck Jonathan.
6. For the Chapel, which was built by former President Olusegun Obasanjo, why wasn’t it moved by his successor, Late Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, who himself was of another faith.

They should pull them down Nigeria is
not ripe for such tolerance. Why our leaders always after religion by the way? Not development. Religion and tribalism has cause more dead, crises, properties lost, and deeply we are divided as a people because of the two. Am waiting for a Nigerian president, governor (s), leaders who will heartly restructure and re-define Nigeria.

For the mosque, the first question you should ask is; what is the distance between the mosque and the bedroom? Ask that before you ask why it hasnt been moved by 6 administrations. Btw, your 6 questions are unnecessary. Bullet proof o, sound proof o, no mosque or church should be close to any bedroom. They should both be far away! Aso villa doesn't belong to anyone or any religion.

I wish I can answer them. Very legitimate reasoning

And in Kaduna state, El-Rufai shuts down 2 churches and a seminary, does one need a soothsayer to know where we're heading?

I guess he is scared of conviction and eventual salvation cheesy
Re: Questions Begging For Answers Over Buhari’s Relocation Of Villa Chapel, Mosque by Nobody:
1. What is the distance of the chapel to the President’s bedroom?
ANSWER: Distance is not of essence here, A residential area is a residential area. If the landlord says he doesn't want to have a church in his compound, so be it.

2. Is the President’s bedroom not sound-proof and bullet proof?
ANSWER: Does the president have to close all his windows compulsorily? What happened to enjoying a quiet Sunday in the balcony of his castle?

3. Are external speakers used by the Chapel and Mosque?
ANSWER: It is not all about external speakers, in fact, internal speakers can equally disturb a quiet Sunday. But most importantly is the crowd and attendant stream of people walking, talking and loitering...that in itself constitutes noise.

4. Is worship held in the Chapel and Mosque daily?
ANSWER: It may not be daily, but the president has the right to a quiet Sunday afternoon.

ANSWER: The mosque is located behind the president's office, not residence. The mosque is not in a residential area.

6. For the Chapel, which was built by former President Olusegun Obasanjo, why wasn't it moved by his successor, Late Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, who himself was of another faith.
ANSWER: Yar'Adua rarely spent his weekends in the vila. He was either in one hospital or the other.

I think Vanguard is just asking useless questions meant to stir religious strife. This journalistic almajiri newspsper has reporters in the Presidential Villa meeting with the President everyday but it prefers to give the story a religious twist to score cheap points.

Let them pack their writing pads and recorders and ask Buhari straight up.

Re: Questions Begging For Answers Over Buhari’s Relocation Of Villa Chapel, Mosque by InvertedHammer:
Main question: How far is the church or mosque from the residential building of the President?

From what I read, lazy OBJ had it very close so that he could easily get to church as if he would be living in Aso Rock forever. That's lack of foresight..

Re: Questions Begging For Answers Over Buhari’s Relocation Of Villa Chapel, Mosque by Firefire(m):
Can this be true huh

An informed source familiar with the details of the matter who spoke to BREAKING TIMES on Wednesday on condition of anonymity disclosed that President Buhari, acting on the advise of Senegalese marabouts who performed spiritual cleansing at the Aso Rock Villa prior to his relocation from the Defence House to Aso Rock, advised him to shut down the Aso Rock Chapel as its continued existence was affecting spiritual activities being conducted on behalf of the President.

It will be recalled that BREAKING TIMES first reported that President Buhari will not take residence at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa until the necessary “spiritual cleansing” has been carried out at the Villa by a team of Senegalese marabouts hired by the President.

Let them shut down all chapels and mosques inside the villa and have prayer rooms where everybody can go and pray.....but sometimes i wonder if this man tinks about the consequences of his actions
