relax bud, iPhone 6 plus is a phablet and its 5"5 but it can't. iPads can't as well and only ipad air 2 would have the abilty to do in iOS 9 cos its 2GB equipped.

1. Screen Resolution
Sure, most times you don't ignore screen size but you ignore its resolution, some phones with loud specifications, could actually come with a very poor resolution, so poor you would hate looking at the screen, watching movies or just viewing pictures as they would produce very little detail and poor colours with a lot of noise. For example HD 1080p is alright for a 5" screen, anything lower than that might not make good impressions to your eyes.

From my experience 1080p is wasted on a 5in screen, everything looks so small even though it's crisp and reading text onscreen will make you wonder if you are actually using a 5in screen. 720p is better for 5in and smaller screens, even 5.5in screens with 720p still look good.

Nope you are wrong. 4.7 to 5 is ok to have 720p but doesn't mean 1080p would be wasted on 5" screen, is the screen to body ratio is pretty good then you would enjoy it.. 5'5 shouldn't even have 720p in this era. It should be 1080p minimum

It is not about right or wrong, manufacturers make their phones and we use them, either you like one type or you like another. I do alot of reading and browsing on my mobile and when you constantly have to either squint or enlarge a text to see it without straining your eyes then it's a waste for me. When I was using a 5in 1080p device I constantly wished I had a larger device, I am using a 5.5in 720p device now and I think it is perfect in terms of clarity and size of text.

5.5in 1080p would be nice. I just tried out one this morning and I liked the clarity and legibility.
