Premier league so tough. The bigger teams are worse and the middle teams have improved now.

Really hope we get the 3 points tomorrow.

9 pts from The Emirates, Anfield and The Etihad. Thank God they aren't coming to OT until December...

Meanwhile City, Arsenal and Leicester ve all dropped points. Tomorrow is a must win and yet its never ever easy at the Saint Mary's. Lets hope LVG gets it right tomorrow. We really need those 3 pts...

coogar:
they have been solid in away games and pretty rubbish at home.
they are built for the counter-attacking football. away from home, teams get at them and this leaves
them space to exploit. at home, west ham must play expansive football and they get punished.
And they've played top teams the most copping three points from each.

These "Small Teams" ll definitely be a thorn throughout the course of the season. Especially wen the big boys start playing UCL knockout stages and fatigue starts to set in...

The truth is... Middle teams didn't improve. It's the bigger teams that have depreciated. Their depreciated form is evident in the UCL competition to.

If I'm LvG I'll rather line up with pacey forwards in a 4-3-3 format similar to the one used last season.
I will perhaps be more daring to replace Mata with Wilson & Carrick with Schneiderlin.

- - - - - - - - - - de Gea - - - - - - - -
Darmian - Smalling - - Rojo - Blind

Mata - - - - - - Martial - - - - - Depay

Each time i recall the Hector Moreno Incident and Diego Costa's thug life on the pitch, i can't help but feel for Suarez for the injustice he suffered in the EPL. The English Media chased the dude outta the EPL.

Manchester United travel to Southampton on Sunday with Morgan Schneiderlin in the squad to face his old club but, sadly not Luke Shaw. The full-back, who broke his leg at PSV Eindhoven, expects to fly back to Manchester this weekendand Louis van Gaal believes if he makes a full recovery, he can go on to become one of the most famous names at the club. “Southampton have a very good youth system, but I believe in that sort of culture too,” the United manager said. “This club has always been famous for giving young players a chanceand we have to continue with that policy.

When you see us in the Champions League with Shaw, at 19 years of age, Memphis, 21, and Anthony Martial, 19, it is clear we have the same aims. If you look at my career you can see I have brought a lot of young players through, not only that but major players who went on to be important at their clubs. At Barcelona, Xavi, captain. Iniesta, captain. The backbone of theclub and the culture. At Bayern Munich there is Thomas Müller, David Alaba and Holger Badstuber. Bastian Schweinsteiger is now out, but the other three are still the guardians of the culture of Bayern Munich. Maybe when I am gone, Shaw or Adnan Januzaj will be the guardians of the culture here at Manchester United. Or it could even be Martial, but first he has to learn to speak the English language.”

Van Gaal is on familiar territory here, he is rarely shy of advertising his success at previous clubs or his part in the development of major players. “I am a coach who believes in youth and I think I have a very good eye for great talents,” he claims, just in case anyone has missed the message.

But Januzaj has just been sent out on loan for a year to Borussia Dortmund, disappointing many who thought he could have been given more game time at Old Trafford. “He is still in our thoughts and plans,” Van Gaal said. “We are following his progress in Germany closely, and it was pleasing to see that he played 90 minutes in animportant game for Dortmund [against Krasnodar in the Europa League] this week. We keep track of all the players we have out on loan, and we want to see them playing rather than sitting on the bench. That is the whole point of the system. Just because Januzaj is out on loan does not mean he is not part of thefuture at Manchester United.” Ángel Di María is no longer part of the future at Manchester United, last season’s £60m acquisition is firmly in the club’s past, and for Van Gaal that represents another reason for seeking to promote youth. “Ideally you want to bring up a player within the traditions of the club, and invest the time needed in his development,” he said. “There is a certain amount of risk in that, and of course it is easier to buy big, established stars, but as we saw last season big stars can also fail. That is why I always think it is better to invest in young players, even if they end up being more for the benefit of the next manager rather than yourself.”
