We don't need any made lake or anything like that. Aba isn't the only place called Igboland. we know who is Igbo, but since they have been joined and made minority in other states, we won't compound their situation by constantly yelling they are Igbo. it is like Moses living in Pharaoh's house, but people know he isn't Egyptian.

Actually, all we need is to defeat nigeria and take back at least ALL Igboland areas ceded to other regions.

Opobo is about 40 km from the area where the bridge is located. Now, there has been an ongoing dispute if Opobos are ijaws. Thats all i can say. But, even if they are Ijaw as the title "Amayanabo" suggests, Ijaw isn't the enemy to us here. Ijaw have simply done what they had to do in order to survive in Nigeria. Just like a typical Anioma person had to do what they had to do in order to survive.

This project is going to gulp billions of dollars. I know everything necessary that needs to be done should be done to awaken the place. This is a serious setback for us. This government have really done something bad for our people.

The actual dredging of the seaport isn't the problem but the bridge. This will pose a serious problem for the igbos and the Rivers state people. This is a ticking time bomb for us.

It is actually a DUAL CARRIAGE 2 bridges sitting side by side.!

Now you are seeing what people like Nnamdi kalu are saying. There is and has been an ongoing war against Ndigbo to cage them perpetually in Nigeria. their biggest card used to be to create a wedge of fear and enmity between the Niger Delta communities and the SE.
But that plan has failed since the Niger Deltans have since realized their main game of divide and rule and have started refusing to cooperate with them in facilitating their own exploitation and cheating.

and this has been exactly what I have been telling people........leave the 5 eastern states intact and support the creation of anioma state, then reclaim the land from imo state taken by rivers state......as simple as that......no need to waste the little land we have

I love the idea that the state is distributing the development to different parts of the state and not concentrating in one region alone. This will widen the development in the state.

The truth is that, the state governor is trying and I have to give him kudos in his attempt to open up the state. The problem I have with my people is the way they litter the environment where they live. The government should try as much as possible to post billboards and pamphlets educating people to stop dumping dustbins in public places. It is very important. Even with the fine structures in anambra state, the state still look dirty or is it the camera they used in covering most videos I watch?

The governor can't do it alone, in your own small measure, we can help in distributing pamphlets stressing the importance of keeping the environment clean. Rome was not built in a day but let's start building a better foundation for our land.

In fact that is what Etiaba tried to do albeit in a corrupt way -I know the "Engineer" that won the contract but did next to nothing before Obi cancelled the entire thing. I quietly distanced from the guy without him knowing why. We need GOOD companies to handle environmental management in Anambra State, not hustling thieves!

I was thinking of writing a proposal to some companies and all the igbo governors, so that they can pull funds together. I am also thinking if igbo businessmen can pay what I call diaspora tax, to make this project a reality. This port will boost the economic activities of the region by 80percent. This will even make businesses expand to the region. More jobs for youths, more money for government and development in a our region.

That's what some men are doing in Portharcourt. This waste management business is very lucrative. If the government can give this contract to an engineer, they'll take care of the state very well. I think the state needs scrubbing. Asin, scrubbing the cities and the roads from so much dirts.

The state governor should also be able to cover those red sands when tarring the roads. These red sand always stain building and the environment.

So much needs to be done.
