This May help someone: I downloaded a Calling App called Telbo to my Android Smartphone. I used my visa card to recharge it with $10 and i use it for all international calls at an extremely cheap rate.

P/S: I last recharged it with $10 since March this year and i still have about $4 remaining. $1 talk-time to an Australian line can last almost 1-hour... All you need is a good internet connection and i usually share mobile hotspot from my Blackberry. cool cool

Na God..... grin. By the advice of some guys here, Ferdimako and Be long, I let the cat out of the bag early. I wrote them long before I was assigned ....reporting myself. They noted and the last email says they believe it was done inadvertently but I would still have been invited with 60 at subsequent rounds. So the only crime was that I got invited earlier than I should have.
scrollmeout:

Hi Ifexsco, i heartily look forward to hearing your good news. Your grant is 90% loading. I'm pleasantly suprised that your CO is reasonable and cooperative. I know of a guy on another forum whose PR application / invitation was cancelled cos the CO said he over claimed points for experience, 65 instead of 60 overall points. Though it was an error, he wasn't given the chance to respond or correct it. Thank God for you bro!

BTW, @Futuredon, it seems you also like my signature brown font colour cool

Most people had or have no one there. I humbly suggest you go through this forum first. Then we discuss and educate each other better. You might even catch an insight nobody understood since and u end up being the one to put us all through.

Cheers.

. :-XHello house, please I knw dis question is old but I still will like to know.
Do people actually get visa thru svp without bank statement? if Yes, how common is it. I just want to avoid unnecessary delays when I apply, complicating my application because my Bro in-law is my sponsor.

I promise not to ask dis again.

Why not just stick to the checklist? If they need it, they gonna ask for it, they won't just deny you visa cos of it because its not in your checklist.

How does your Sch payment made, is it online payment or u send them card details to make deductions? Form A takes upto 5days with the new rules and a little complicated. Card payments are best.

ewagbamio:
@2posh that was quite informative!will call my account officer to get more details. I hope an individual can request that his own limit be raised. the school actually mentioned that if the daily limit is exceeded, they'll make multiple deductions to make up the total, but still 1000daily limit is just way too small.

the form A option is beginning to look more attractive

@erictack2003 It's Ecobank, why did you ask?

Re: General Australian student Visa Enquiries Part 2 by erictack203(m): 3:14pm On Sep 19, 2015
Thanks a lot my boss, you really sabi. smiley

Manweysabi:

No, you can upload your documents while you your school is processing your transcript. You don't scan any transcript.
Re: General Australian student Visa Enquiries Part 2 by erictack203(m): 3:18pm On Sep 19, 2015
If you say so, I will totally agree with you. Form A is safer, though it takes upto 5days maximum. Then u get the Swift copy and sent to the School as payment evidence.

laminaria:

am actually a guy, most people make u of bank tranfer via formA....i used too,..and beside i tink is more safer n better, u know sometimes am personally afraid of this online transaction due to network or hackers (boys on keyboard)but i know couple of guys that used as well

Please what type of Birth Certificate is acceptable for the Visa application? It appears there are all kinds: short/abridged, full/unabridged, age declaration/affidavit, the one from hospital, the one from LGA, NPC attestation letter etc

Has anyone here used the LGA one to get their Visa please?

@ Others that already have their Visa, which one did you use please? Lawland, Laminaria, FutureDon, Bellong et al

I wouldnt think there is any other way except you want to follow the PR route. Alternatively you could check out for TAFE colleges, you may find those with low tuition fees. Australia tuition fees are on high side.
