Well I believe if the girl in question has good up bringing and proper moral standard, she won't cheat on her boyfriend of even husband.

So to a very large extent, you're right, the temptations are just too great in NYSC, especially that 3 weeks in camp, during my time I saw hoo yaa lots and lots of married women touching their toes without so much as an ounce of shame.

I even believe now that the married women cheat and misbehave more than the single girls during their NYSC.

Having successfully concluded my one year compulsory service to the nation, I can categorically say here that, any girl/lady who doesn't cheat, or attempts to cheat on her partner/husband during her service year, will to a very large extent, remain loyal and faithful for the rest of her life; take it from me.

The reason for the afore assertion is not far-fetched; NYSC is generally perceived as an avenue to engage, even if for the last time, in all maners of immoralities. During this period, you can hardly differentiate a married lady from a single lady; they all want to catch the fun with out any form of social discrimination from their colleagues. Most married ladies go as far as taking off their sacred wedding rings once they put on that revered, or perhaps cursed khaki.

I remember quite vividly, the frown that greeted me the day I curiously, but politely asked a married lady in my platoon, why she wasn't working on redeploying back to the state where her husband was residing. The stern look on her face as she looked at me, could be vaguely interpreted to mean, "wtf! do I look too old to be in this camp?"

Carry out a quick but careful study, you'd be surprised to find out the number of female corp members, that get married just few weeks after POP, who were hitherto, your close/intimate female friends.

I will NEVER advice any reasonable man, to allow his wife particularly, and may be his fiancee, to be deployed outside his state of residence. But if he wants to put her character to test, then there isn't any test which can be as rigorous and complex as the NYSC (Not recommended)



NB: the above post is made with out prejudice to the sound moral and ethical standards, which the NYSC scheme is built upon.

it happened to two of ma friends. Both of dem went through a 5-yr course and theirs GFs back in skul went through a 4-yr course which made the girls to go for service bfore dose guys. Though,the two guys don't know each other,it happened @ a different time and year. Their respective GFs saw anoda guys dere and all they could do was to send messages they were no more interested in the relationships.

Hehehehe! But did you actually consider that a girl who's bound to cheat will cheat even if she's your gf and shares the same apartment with you?

To me, long distance relationships isn't the best but it does come with certain advantages.

A good example is one within the academic environment. I had long distance relationships throughout my 100-400L not until 500L that I dated within my school environment. A friend of mine lived a family life with his gf back then in school. The result is, I graduated with good class of degree while the guy is probably still nurturing his COs 3 years after we left him there in school.

A lot of married women will fail it. It's life time test for corps members except u don't stay in ur station I.e ghost copper tin. A Really life time test!!!

Well, I'll be there come Oct.28th. As a correct , fine, sharp boy, I'm gonna nack all the knackable ladies there. Infact, they should wait for me; I will knack them tire. This time around, my knacking knacking of ladies will and must surpass the level I operated while in school. For sure, it gonna quadruple.

Both single ladies and maried ladies; I don't give a bleeping care about your status, so far I don't see any engagement or wedding ring...like I said; I don't carea a hoot, I must knack you. Because, this going to be my opportunity to knack wella, in the absence of my nagging girl friend, whom I will be marrying next 2years when I will be 26yrs of age.
