We experienced Ghana-must-go in his first coming, his second coming is giving us Investors-must-go. A man who never managed a business for over 30years may find it difficult to understand why investors are leaving just because it is taking him 4 months to appoint his cabinet. 2 Likes |

lincolnj88: Jonathan regime did not attract true investors. They attracted hot, fast agile money through Okonjo Iweala that went into the stock market chasing quick returns . Now that agile money has moved without working for us due to the oil marketml. They were posting economic growth figures not backed proven by physical assets on the ground like factories, infrastructure and so on. If the growth they gave was genuine why would everything turn just because the oil and gas market changed and the price dropped by more than 120%. No new refineries was the worst done by that clueless man did. At least we would have earned money from refined products exports to the whole of West Africa. Saudi Arabia and all the gulf countries are now making big bucks from petrochemicals, where is Nigeria?. Body language Ko, body language ni. 3 Likes |

rozayx5:we should look into their kind of investment. R they investors that r sucking Nigeria's blood and decide to leave when they noticed the new change that will force them to vomit blood? Real company or investment can never leave Nigeria when others r lobbying to come. 1 Like |

Is it not now glaringly clear that we are giving these foreigners the wrong name in business? They are not investors. More like speculators to me. Outflow more than inflow of money. What are they now investing? They are simply here to put in little and then take the bigger part outside our economy. It doesnot take them long to remove their money from whatever they say they are investing in. Assuming we were fooled again into devaluing our currency for how many times now, they will simply own the country. By buying up everything that the country stood for, cheaply with their pound sterlings, dollars and euro. Things will normalise pretty soon enough. The real long term investors will come. Jp morgan and the rest of them must simply go and look for their fast making money else where. 2 Likes |

Data obtained from the NSE showed that just as was the case last year, foreign investment outflow exceeded inflow in the first eight months of 2015. Foreign investors had pulled N846.53bn from the stock market last year although they invested N692.39bn, a development that caused the NSE All-Share Index to close with a negative return of -16.14 per cent. |
