Abeg gurus, my colleague will be going for his interview next week monday but has 8 months passport validity. He has already applied with this passport for his Form i-20 and for the Visa schedule, all has been granted. So he will be going next week monday, but my question is: Will this endanger his chances of getting his F1 visa |

hello guys............. been reading all the posts from part 6. interesting stuff, i have learnt a whole lot of things............ but i have a couple of questions,i am going in for LLM(MASTERS IN LAW) Most Universities do not require GRE but TOEFL or IELTS, however after considering my academic records , they always grant my waiver request. so i do not intend writing the IELTS, i secured a government scholarship, however it does not cover my living expenses, does it hurt if i use an uncle's SOA despite the fact that we dont share same surname? i believe some of you can offer some pieces of advice to me. |

Hello house Pls I need some clarification. School resumes by Jan 14th. When Is the best time to fly early? And i explanation on the 120 day rule.. Cc : the veterans in the house |
Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 8 by awe2015(f): 12:21am On Sep 24, 2015 |
labrinthy: 30 days before resumption. If your school resumes on the 14th Jan, then plan your trip from 14 December. The 120 rule is meant for the visa appointment scheduling. If you are yet to book yours, you can start doing so now. In fact you are free to book your appointment from September 14th to January 14th...that's 120 days. My school resumes on the 8th of Jan, I booked my interview on the 17th and got my visa last week...I wish you success! |

Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 8 by imperiouxx(m): 2:24am On Sep 24, 2015 |
boyomass: Is this a condition with which you can pay your tuition? Seems the cash you want to pay is only obtainable in U.S. Anyways, you don't have to pay before you get your visa. That's applicable to all schools. |

Please can someone explain this for me. Do they require transcript evaluation? SIUE does not require an outside evaluation of full degrees. However if you choose to forward an external evaluation to SIUE, it will be used as a guideline in verifying appropriate degree. SIUE does not automatically honor any accredited service (ex. WES, ECE) evaluation of complete degrees without additional review. |

seun407:Means they don't require transcript evaluation..but if you send evaluation report from WES and ECE, they still gonna evaluate it again(seems they got their own internal evaluators). The best is, don't bother sending your transcript to WES or ECE, save the stress and Just send your transcript directly from your school to Edwardville.. |

tanzii:Nice one bro.. You've atleast actually helped yourself by reading through some parts and pages to gather some info yourself unlike those my padis that always want to be spoonfed..You are a guru to have secured an admission to study LLM in US(heard its always hard for Intl students to get admitted & study american law cc slimmy05 imperiouxx bigfrancis21 Ojap Abeg shey na true?). Most LLM programs doesn't require GRE but you can go ahead with TOEFL/IELTS(Pls make sure you write TOEFL/IELTS even not required by the school). Also, you not having the same surname with your sponsor is not a problem, just explain how related you are to the VO. The scholarship from the government is a Boost for you bro..
