The Labour Party has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to always consult the leadership of the All Progressives Congress on some critical decisions. The party noted that Buhari had more trust in the people who came from the defunct Congress for Progressive Change than the totality of the APC. According to LP, the President was currently giving the impression that he was bigger, greater, wiser and more knowledgeable than the APC. The LP National Chairman, Alhaji Abdulkadir Abdulsalam, who spoke with journalists on Friday in Abuja said, “Buhari’s sense of self-supremacy will kill the APC. “The President is giving the impression that he is bigger, greater, wiser and more knowledgeable than his political party. That is why Buhari’s sense of self-supremacy will kill the party and that attitude is dangerous for Nigeria. The President should go back to the drawing board with his political party. “I don’t know the versatility of Buhari in reaching out to people all over the country because he was a minister, governor, head of state, General and now a President. If with all these backgrounds and pedigree, he has so many people to rely upon at the blink of an eye to produce 30 people to occupy sensitive and prominent positions, then there is problem ahead. “I will advise the President to go back to his political party and have confidence in the party to enable him to do what he should do for Nigeria. The way I am seeing it now, Buhari has more confidence in members of the defunct CPC than the totality of APC.” The LP called on Buhari to evolve confidence in the totality of APC members, relate and interact with them, get their advice and work out policies with them “because as of now, no party policy is working in APC”. http://dailypost.ng/2015/09/26/buhari-likes-working-with-only-cpc-members-labour-party/ |

Lol @Labour Party complaining on behalf of the entire APC. Is it not the same way ACN bloc relegate nPDP and ANPP blocs? Is it not the same way ACN bloc in Lagos relegates every other bloc? From the look of things... CPC got the Presidency. ACN got the Vice nPDP forced their way into getting the Senate Presidency and Speaker. ANPP got the position of National Chairman As it is now, CPC controls the instrument of government. ACN controls the instrument of the party and should they pull out, the government and the leftover of the 'party' will collapse. In other words, the CPC and ACN blocs need each other. The only 'irrelevant' bloc is the nPDP who are being shut-out using every means by CPC and ACN blocs. Without the likes of Tinubu and other people that made APC and Buhari the president, do you think Buhari would have been president? He would have continued to suffer with his so-called loyal CPC till eternity. lurther:there is no denying that Tinubu and co played a big role in making Buhari president. The Labour party are just minority wailers striving hard to get noticed. The whole thing here is exaggerated.. what they ve said is not completely true. Buhari works with all APC members but trusts his CPC goons more. This "trust" you and I know they deserve. |
