It's a normal thing to take your date or partner out on a date every now and then. Then question now is: HOW DO YOU REACT WHEN YOU TAKE A LADY OUT ON A DATE AND SHE PRACTICALLY WASTE THE MEAL? Which do you do? 1) Instruct her to finish the food / drink? 2) Order for a take away pack for her to carry along the remnant? 3) Keep quiet and pretend there's absolutely nothing wrong? 4) Vow never to take her out again. So today I felt like eating amala so I drove to one of the most popular "high class buka" on the mainland. On getting inside, the place was full to the brim. I and a few other people after placing our orders had to stand a few minutes waiting for the next available seat. Eventually I sat close to a guy and opposite a lady. My first impression was that they both came together. So here this lady is using her spoon to play with her meal. After a few swallows this lady stood up without practically eating ANYTHING. Meat, rice, plantain all wasted. As soon as she stepped out I then realized she came alone. Myself and the other guy were both dumbfounded because why on earth will a struggling young lady come and DASH a "buka" owner (one of the top 10 most popular local eatery in the whole of Lagos) your money all because you want to form for guys on the same table who you most likely never meat ever again. If you can use your spoon to cut your meat, what happened to your hand? The rice and plantain? Early this year I was in an eatry when a guy and a lady had a very heated argument because of this same issue of food wastage. It took myself, an elderly lady and an equally very young and pretty lady to cajole the lady to either finish her meal or get a takeway pack to carry it along. The guy swore and threatened that neither himself or the lady will leave that place unless she finishes her meal because she was the one complaining of being hungry and made her order. Eventually, she ate the meal finish, emptied her bottle water and even dean shwepps 35cl without any sign of over feeding. the question is: why do ladies waste food on a date? PunkyVeer: It didn't happen to me personally. If she was really classy, she should have known spoon is for cereals and NOT for grains (I don give FREE tutorial to 95% of nairaland supposed big babes). The last time a lady tried that stunt with me she wished she could vomit and recycle the meal back because I ensured she ate it all.
