Anyone who fails to understand that the North worships Buhari is a novice in politics. A quick check at his past election results in the north in 2003, and 2011 will clear their doubt, not to talk of 2015's. For PDP to even think they can beat Buhari through North shows how unsophisticated they are.

Buhari is the only politician in the north with cult following and there's nothing pdp can do to reduce his influence. Only the man's failure can achieve that and he will not fail.
