But if PDP packages themselves very well, the can get up to 60% in NC..don't 4get most NC states were PDP states up till last election, it was Buhari's Might nd APC strategy that made PDP lose in most of dis states!!! Benue, Kogi, Jos, Kwara, Nassarawa were all PDP states...so my broda don't be too sure... The Buhari factor nd APC strategies may not work well in 2019...coupled with the fact fulani herdsman are killing nd raping NC people....i hav met many NC people, the don't really like being called Hausa..!!

The Acting National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Chief Uche Secondus, on Wednesday in Abuja said the party has zoned its presidential ticket for the 2019 general elections to the North.

The party also said it would not repeat the “mistakes” it made in 2015.

It remains to see what will happen if PMB contests with an Igbo vice president in 2019, how will the Igbos vote then?

Sometimes in 2012 at work, I mentioned that Buhari will contest 2015 elections and i'm elated. If u see the reaction of this Igbo lady beside me...

She was just raking and saying "Buhari will surely die before that 2015 i'm talking about". I was flabbergasted. I have never seen such a chronic hate in my life.

Infact, I was sombre after her outburst. I was just wondering how a beautiful educated lady can be wishing someone death just because u dont like the person.

I have moved on & lost contact with her, if not, I would have drawn her attention back to that our discussion, and let her know that it is God that dictates things as he deemed fit and not d sentiments of man.

so the summary is that PDP might provide candidate from kano and vice from se

It is this same faulty premise u guys used to deceive Jonathan, that he'll surely win the NC, and alas, what happened, they voted for APC in both the presidential and state elections. PDP slightly won Taraba gubernatorial, and the case is still on sef, tribunal can still order rerun based on irregularities we all witnessed.

You said this fulani herdsmen crap before 2015 elections; it failed to turn out the way u predicted when the odds seems to favour u then sef, now tht the odds is kinda against u, u re still repeating the same faulty assumption.

And what makes u think PMB will not be able to restore security and sanity to the NC? That Jonathan was not able to check the activities of the herdsmen for 6yrs does not mean PMB also will not be able to do same.

Security as of now is the priority of PMB and i'm very sure after 2 yrs, he'd have succeeded in better protecting the NC minorities than GEJ was able to do and as such win their hearts further.

On the state side, eventhough APC is governing most of those states, PDP still has a good presence. The implication of this is that the governors will not be able to act with impunity as was obtained when PDP was ruling the states.

As such, they will have to rely on good governance "only" to be able to retain their seats and win a 2nd term. Most of the governors will want a 2nd term (Benue, Plateau, Adamawa) and will definitely perform to have it. This will further dent the chances of the PDP in those NC states.

Even after giving Ex-President Jonathan more than 90% votes in the hopes of getting the next presidency, PDP still abandoned the Igbos. I believe this would have still happened even if Jonathan won. He does not even have the political clout to impose the idea of Igbo candidate on the PDP. Definitely not in the present-pdp. Ndigbo better sit up now and try aligning politically especially with other major tribes to boost their chances with a powerful coalition later. Isolation and throwing of tantrums won't help anyone.
