There is a time for EVERYTHING.... NOW is not the time to make comparisons, human lives should not be tools to score political points...

I am not absolving Jona of any blame, if action had been taken when BH were still a rag tag group, instead of babying them in order to have good standing in preparation for elections...we would not be having this conversation today.

Now we no longer have BH claiming our territories or terrorising our soldiers into scampering for safety...

US just had a crazy guy shout up a community college in Oregon a few days ago, there will always be anti social psychopaths.

It's the reaction to violent acts that sets LEADERS apart....

PMB is still my guy & would remain so until he STOPS making efforts to clean up the nation....
Why blame Jona, did boko haram issue started in jona regime?. Since inception of this boko haram menance what has the northern governors and their traditional rulars don to help the situation. This problem could be trace back to OBJ to Yar'dua rejime. So let forget the past. Yes Jona made his own mistakes but I dn't understand why he must take blame for every thing that went wrong with Nigeria. The present govt shld find away out of this mess.

I am a s.southerner, I believe in what gej was doing. Am very skeptical of our current REGIME but that been said I still want to give PMB 2 full yrs to prove me wrong.. that been said buhari has all d experience to b petroleum minister, even more than defence and agriculture. He has been a minister of petroleum before, and has been PTF chairman (we all know how dat went) so if na petroleum him want let him ve it lets c hw far in 2 yrs

Lying Liars

For the best interest of Nigeria Buhari Should appoint himself Minister of Defence or head the Ministry of Agriculture ,
Withh his experience as a former military General and a Farmer, He is the only one suitable for that job and not the petroleum industry.

PDP was and is still the only true National Party in Nigeria.
APC will leave Nigeria more disunited than ever.

Is his name not dipo awojide? Is he not a yoruba man?

It is bad enough that he is yoruba, and then you find out he also supports APC

When you have a SLAVE and ZOMBIE put together, you can only imagine how terribly despicable such a human is.

When you call them by their names- back-stabbing, double-speaking, two-faced, arse-licking cowards and hypocrites, they will say you have insulted them.

Nigerians be the judge, know your true enemies!

#apologies to very few reasonable yorubas

I no fit laughter but it's the truth. Why not Minister of Defence instead of Petroleum grin as a General and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, he's better placed to lead the battle naaaa

But Technically he never lied in his tweet. I also know all the neighborhood crook MD cranny of Nyanya , Karu , Orozo Karshi Kurudu, Aya , asokoro etc and the poster never lied.

I give him a 10/10.

Look at last year Nyanya bomb blast, Nyanya to AYA is not up to 10minutes when the road is free without go slow. It's just a straight way less than 8minutes. Yet we saw a national tragedy in which the president rather than addressing the issue left for a party to dance and twerk his waste out.

It's really sadonic
So according to you deceptions that claim Nyanya and Kuje are far from the MAIN CITY the lives lost in those places are not as valuable as those in the MAIN CITY? Meaning attacks in such places are irrelevant and unimportant? Lives lost thereby mean BH is getting decimated?

BH didn't start with Jona, the issue people had with him is that he watched while it transformed from a cutlass wielding sect to AK47, RPG carrying monster...

Terrorism & violence are a brutal fact in the 21st century & like i opined before, it's how LEADERS manage crisis that determines how history remembers them...

Jona will never find a place in my heart cos..

1.. He only had thoughts for re election so he didn't want to anger the northern elites, Nigerians didn't vote him to make nice... He should have taken care of biz!

(Full disclosure, I didn't vote for him in '11 but always wished him well cos if he fails Nigeria FAILS, & i fully supported the doctrine of necessity after UMY's demise)

2.He didn't care for the well being of the soldiers on the war front, despite media reports of misconduct reported against their commanders...

3.He also allowed the war on terror to be a source of revenue for people like SAS...

What nailed him was the Kano Dance, there was no way back after that...

APC are liers, I don't care because just like every other political party and politician, they lie. But the country would be worse after 4years, that I will not agree with you because in just 4month I have seen the difference. So believe me when I tell you, in the next 4month, you would pray that APC government continue its rule (unless you're like that APC suppoter who will not say the bitter truth and cast away your hatred)

Did Jona made his own mistake yes but what did northern elders, the Imams, the governors did to solve the problem. Even when he tried to fight the insurgency at the early stage buhari, el'rufai and co where the one shouting that attack on boko haram is an attack on north bcs the boko haram was killing only the christians and the southerners then nd they never knew that is going to degenerate to this. Let me remind you what happened in the south East when kidnaping was on rampant. The goveronors did't wait for the federal govt, they rallied around with the traditional rulas bcs they ar the people who knw the interior vilages very well. They help the security operatives to identify the bad eggs. Then the state house of assmebly pass a bill that made kidnaping a capital offence. Today in anambra for instance, any kidnapa cughted knws that he is a dead man nd any property acquired by him will be demolished immidiately. That was how kidnaping issue was reduced till today. Boko haram was creation of northern governors who use them to rigg elections and intimidate their opponent and when the boys went out of control they started shouting federal govt. If the northern governors had don something when they were using cutlass do you think we will be in this mess. If they had provided basic education for their citizen do u think that the northern youths would hv being so gulible to accept bomb to blow them selves in the public. Jonathan shld not be blame for every thing bcs he is not the cause of the problem. Northen elites shld take the blame. Every thing boils down to orientation. Nigerian problem did not start with Jonathan. Buhari should do something fast bfo something do us in this country.
