I think you should epic understand the rationale for the thread before making your "epic" conclusion and NEWSFLASH! The thread has not and will not fail..NEVER.

The primary aim is for mature minds to come interact NOT TO COME LOOK FOR A WIFE OR HUSBAND but because human interaction can never be void of the possibility of hooking up hence could also be a template for that to happen.

Why i clmoured for 26plus ladies is because most of what we discuss here is relationship oriented and except you want to be untrue to yourself,if you line up 100 26yr old ladies and guys then ask them all if they are ready for marriage i can bet that 90 out of the 100 ladies will say yes while the exact opposite wil be for the guys.

This thread like every other interactive medium is a mix of those who just want to interact as the primary aim and of-course those who need a man or woman to create a special bond with.

Because of the latter group,it becomes imperative to widen the criteria for the inclusion of more people hence the need to bring down the age of ladies to 26plus.

Nevertheless if it remains as it is, it will still not die off because as long as we that are here already are still alive,we will always come her to drop few lines so it will never die off even if it may not have as much traffic as it used to.

I don't have any issue with your submissions so far, they've really been inciteful and full of knowledge. However, if you notice clearly, you've been left alone on this thread. The Op and others have abandoned the thread for the whatsapp group which I feel is wrong.

The discussions in that group is purely below par and immature IMO. Everything should have been kept on the thread. You can't run this thread alone trust me.

The whatsapp group grows daily. The purpose of that group is for those who need an online eatery to meet a lady and chat. As much as is humanly possible, the people there have been screened. Everyone has a proper pic up, and we encourage them to do their chatting on the group, and not on private chats. We encourage those who feel they have met their soul mate, to do further due diligence by asking for their fb accounts. FB is one of the best ways to find out who a person really is, bcs it reveals a person's life and history. If he/she has only 10 friends, u shd know the account was opened in a hurry, and for dubious reasons. Pls feel free to join. Ladies, come on over as well. 08180632132.

Of course this thread offers a wider range of activities.
As u know, the thread started as a place for men and women over 40s, to hang out, share insights and experiences, and if possible, find love among their peers. It was suggested that the age limit be reduced to 30plus, so that friendships and relationships could be formed, bcs it was rightly believed that those in their 30s were also mature, responsible, responsive, intelligent, hardworking and respectful adults. Lowering the bar has, just like lowering the barricade on a dam, caused a deluge of the good, the bad and the ugly. Now, people who have no control of their tongue, write posts disrespecting others, in order to discourage those who mean well.
I can tell u without fear or favour, that ur posts here is a reflection of ur personality. I have never knowingly or deliberately disrespected anyone here. If u post derogatory, inflammable or sexually improper statements, or u are downright abusive to other posters, it shows u are immature, indisciplined, disgruntled and lack self control. As I always say, the same breeze that swept u in, is posed at the door of this thread, to sweep u back out.

If you check from page 1 i made it clear that i was just 5minutes away from creating a similar thread and if you check through the pages i try to keep the thread alive against all odds and the reason is because i have taken it as my threead too and its ansolutely baseless to create a similar one.

When i first opined that the age be brought to 30plus i believe it will generate more traffic but then i realized the rigidity of many ladies in this age group yet many ladies in their late 20s flock in and take the sideline while the 30s plus refuse to be active.

As a business consultant i look into the module and schematics of situations and suggest productive measures and that was why i made the recent suggestion.

Nevertheless i will bring it to rest.

I am not yet part of the watsup cos i dont like the dstraction it may give me but i see it as a good suggestion.

So i believe if more ladies in their 30s can actively participate on the thread,there may be no need to reduce the age limit but if the timidity of this set continues then lowering the age will be the only way to keep the thread going.

Definitely...but im amazed that many ladies of 30plus seem to be either shy or timid to show up and few who do hardly make posts.

If more ladies in their 30s show up it will make more sense at least to interacr but guys in their early 30s looking for hook ups may not be pleased as such cos most would prefer ladies in their late 20s...and only in few cases will guys date their peers.
