The last one is theatre arts:nowadays u must not be a theatre arts student/graduate before u start acting.most of our nollywood actors read diff thing altogether..i dnt need to name them...i rest my pen here,u can add yours..happy sunday and i wish my fellow uniport students exam success..cheers!!!

Theatre arts is a solid course. There are so many sides to theatre. There is production, visuals, editing, writing, animation even costuming.
Do you know how much people make from movies.? Actors/Actress don't even make as much as the behind the scenes workers.

Every course is good.

Knew I would find Comp Sci among your 5 courses and you didn't dissapoint me, the issue you guys have with comp Sci is ignorance. Many just think Comp Sci is all about Desktop Publishing, Programming, Graphics, Comp Sci is far more wider than this, The best pure science course you can choose to study is Comp Sci, there are limitless opportunities and very wide range of careers under Comp Sci alone. From Security to Database management to Software development and the other fields every one knows. Do you know Arunma Oteh studied Comp Sci in school?? Now she's a World Bank VP , that is one of the things Comp Sci gives, you can choose to became anything you like as a Comp Sci graduate

I will stop here.

Computer science you say??

Computer science
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Computer science deals with the theoretical foundations of information and computation, together with practical techniques for the implementation and application of these foundations.

Computer science is the scientific and practical approach to computation and its applications. It is the systematic study of the feasibility, structure, expression, and mechanization of the methodical procedures (or algorithms) that underlie the acquisition, representation, processing, storage, communication of, and access to information. An alternate, more succinct definition of computer science is the study of automating algorithmic processes that scale. A computer scientist specializes in the theory of computation and the design of computational systems.[1]

Its fields can be divided into a variety of theoretical and practical disciplines. Some fields, such as computational complexity theory (which explores the fundamental properties of computational and intractable problems), are highly abstract, while fields such as computer graphics emphasize real-world visual applications. Still other fields focus on the challenges in implementing computation. For example, programming language theory considers various approaches to the description of computation, while the study of computer programming itself investigates various aspects of the use of programming language and complex systems. Human–computer interaction considers the challenges in making computers and computations useful, usable, and universally accessible to humans.

Top 30 Innovations

The Wharton School of Business performed a survey to determine the top 30 innovations of the last 30 years. The list is presented below, with the innovations directly attributable to computer science in bold. These innovations are the technologies that computer scientists had a direct hand in developing. For the remaining innovations, computer scientists played an important support role, developing control software for technologies like mobile phones, DNA testing and sequencing, MRI, microprocessors, and robotic surgery.

The majority of the provided list would not exist without computer scientists.
1.Internet, broadband, WWW (browser and html)
2.PC/laptop computers
3.Mobile phones
4.Email
5.DNA testing and sequencing/human genome mapping
6.Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
7.Microprocessors
8.Fiber optics
9.Office software (spreadsheets, word processors)
10.Non-invasive laser/robotic surgery (laparoscopy)
11.Open source software and services (e.g., Linux, Wikipedia)
12.Light-emitting diodes
13.Liquid crystal display (LCD)
14.GPS systems
15.Online shopping/ecommerce/auctions (e.g., eBay)
16.Media file compression (jpeg, mpeg, mp3)
17.Microfinance
18.Photovoltaic Solar Energy
19.Large-scale wind turbines
20.Social networking via the Internet
21.Graphic user interface (GUI)
22.Digital photography/videography
23.RFID and applications (e.g., EZ Pass)
24.Genetically modified plants
25.Bio fuels
26.Bar codes and scanners
27.ATMs
28.Stents
29.SRAM flash memory
30.Anti-retroviral treatment for AIDS

so you want to tell me OP that by not studying computer science you can achieve all these feats infact you can decipher the concept behind these few technologies?...
me calling you a capital FOOL is just a beautiful compliment. keep swimming in mediocrity and ineptitude.

Hi Chomytex, you might want to dig a little deeper to understand the role a University plays in the learning process. It gives you structure, credibility (obviously dwarfed by actual performance lol, but it at least gets you through the door a lot of the time) and also feedback (in the form of exams which could be biased but that's a topic for another day). You can choose to learn anything, anywhere. Some people use the university as a means, some don't. The only way I'll agree with you is if their motive for studying the course is wrong (and that applies to just about any course) or their motive for choosing the University system over other methods is also wrong. But if they have perfectly legit reasons for studying whatsoever in the university, to each his own.

why won't I be aggressive? when you aggressively displayed your cluelessness and sarcasm...
you acted really like a dunce and I can only tolerate that assuming it comes from a primary school pupil, not just a grown up like you who is already exposed yet foolishly and lazily can't make good of her resources like Google to conduct trivial researches for herself.

is really a shame... and did you just say again you are an undergraduate??

Op doesn't know it's a privilege to study the course of your choice, they didn't wish for it, or some may have it as their passion, even the most brilliant student in my secondary school who won the cowbell Mathematics competition 2010 for FCT is studying wildlife management in kwa natal zulu university, south Africa. So op, one man' s food is another 's poison
