Hello guys, please I need you all to come to my aid. solutions/opinions are well needed.

I enrolled into one of the NOUN study centre for my M.Sc. Information Technology around mid August. Somewhere along the line, let's say mid September, I had a huge setback; I lost my mum. I almost lost my mind.

Because of that incident, I was urged to change my environment because truth be told, I almost lost it.
Now, I think I am okay and good to go but the snag here is:

1. i have done all necessary things like paid, registering for courses, registering for exams and the likes.

2. Exams has started and I've missed quite a number.

3. I have not done or submitted any TMA.

Here is where you guys comes in; what can or should I do?

Please your opinions are highly needed.
Thanks.

ps: I had to create another moniker to type this because of my privacy.

My deepest sympathy on the demise of your Mother.
Accept my condolences!

Regarding your questions, my take is, it's practically not possible for you to meet up with the ongoing POP exams considering the fact that:

1) You're yet to do your TMAs.
2) You don't have Course Materials which you can read for your exams.
3) You do not have past questions which you can lay your hands on.
4) Time factor.

In contrast, if you want to risk it and/or give it a try, you still have from now till Sunday to prepare for next week and/or upper week papers. And so also any e-exam you registered for e.g The Good Study Guide and others.

Simply printout your course materials, lay your hands on some past questions, and do your TMAs alongside. You can now postpone those courses you've already missed till next semester.

Thanks bro, I've missed like 4 or 5 papers from what i can see from the time-table and i have another one tomorrow, next and Saturday. In all honesty, like you also said, it is practically impossible to cope and catch up. Let's agree i won't be able to write any TMA or exams this semester, what are my options?

Go get the hard copy or download the materials online. Use missing the exams as a motivation to do excellently well next semester (starting January). But you will have to repay the compulsory fee and exam fee (I think there is a way of dropping those courses and your wallet will be refunded. I think I said . Try to lay hands on past questions before then. Mingle with course mates to have an idea how it is done. Wish you success.

Pls i need u guys help here. I got admission in April, but due to some challenges, i was not able to make registration and course registry too. And they 've started writing d first semester exams already...

Now the issue is, after their exams, can i also go a head and make my registration with both sch fees and courses registration against the next session?

Am planing of doing all that at the end of this month, which i suspect they might 've finished with their exams by then.

Of course, yes.
You can go ahead and make your registration after the exams.

On the other hand, you would have to wait till after the e-exams which will probably end by November ending/1st week of Dec. Then, leave a gap of one week in-between before paying.

Guy you funny o. No one has answer to your question I suppose. Meanwhile you are not alone in the not yet to be released results. A friend hasn't seen any of his 6 courses. Was it the second chance exam that you did?

Hello house... Please can I do my e-exam in a study centre different from my registered study centre? I'll be traveling for a programme next month and the resumption date is before the end of the current scheduled exam, I want to know if I'd be able to do the e-exam in the study centre over there.

You need to get a letter from your current study centre. The letter will be undated so you'll be able to fill in the date and study centre.

then before the exam, take the letter to the new study centre for them to stamp and hold a copy.
