For your information every science department is linked to biology. A medical doctor needs reports from biologist to make diagnosis. The Agriculturist need the knowledge of molecular biology to understand crosses and production of crop/animal that reach maturity at the shortest possible time.

In countries that can feed themselves Agriculture and Bioscience resource Engineering aka Agricultural Engineering is the bomb. Every field of Engineering work round this department. Agric Engineering encompassess all the other field of Engineering. Infacts in Malaysia all the other departments are like tributaries to the department. Please stop spreading wrong information because of lack of understanding.

5) Dept. of Geography/Regional Planning and Urban Development: Another boring department! I don't think they ever held any event such as departmental/award night till I left school! It is a nice course but boring department in most Nigerian schools!

In essence, I think it is the mentality of the Nigerian society that has 'inferiorized' (I wonder if such word exist in English) these departments and the students under them.
