What he was trying to say is, Cocoa would be a commodity being traded with the likes of Oil, Gold, Sugar et al and the price would be determined by the International Market.

Cocoa has long been quoted on the international commodities market and Ghana/Ivory Coast remain the reference price for quality West African production.

This is very comendable ,I hope this bears fruit if the system of futures contract is introduced into nigeria farmers will benefit immensely this way the middle men that hv been short changing d farmers will be bypassed and the market wwill deal directly with d farmers
