Guys pls help me check this thing ooo. i bought a power bank of 20,000mah and i use it to charge my infinix hot 2 but it only charged my phone just 2 times, guys is it fake or original ?

Please can someone please tell me how to use a particular storage type. Once I insert my memory card, I cannot store anything on the phone memory again. There is no option of choosing which memory to use. I have tried to delete guest and switch off my phone and on again but no way. Also once I switch off my phone, the data account automatically changes to sim 1, is there a way to stop it from changing all the time?

Why did you root it in the first place? Rooting a phone is not like licensing a car you must have a reason for doing good that.

i did all the settings and subscribe to a bblite it connect at first but 5 to 10 mits latter i reciv a message that the bblite subscription has bn exhausted and the psiphon handle stop walking the remaining money on my account was deducted and i dnt use it to brows just connected and it stop pls help me

Ignore the message anytime you see it... when it disconnects, off your network and On it again. It would connect.... as for the credit chopping.... that's the price you pay for oshofree.. lol..... me I have a sim I use for this, I don't load credit on it..(after all na 2 sim phone I dey use)

tnx guy, it works perfectly, but yesterday when i tried it, it didn't work but the link u gave to me was great, its working now tnx, i no go ever load card for dat line again.

For the first problem go to settings, scroll down to storage, navigate your way through to “Unmount SD card” click on it, thereafter anything you save will be stored on your INTERNAL SD CARD. Mind you, you would have to repeat the whole process again after each successive reboot. As for the second problem, that should be a general misconduct prior the recent update. I hope this helps.

You didn't have to. I use same and did not root. Works perfect for me. To get updates you need to unroot and refresh your fone with the original stock rom. Get the download from infinix mobility website. Without doing this you will get error when trying to update.

Rooting gives you unlimited access to your phone, you are able to dig in to the very core of your phone which you normally were not given access to. Mind you, it is for advanced users only, when u root, you void your warranty in most cases.

Rooting phones allow you remove unnecessary apps installed by the manufacturers such as you would find in Samsung phones for example. On Hot2, you don't have those type of bloat wares (that's what they called them) so there's no need to root since it came with stock android rom (unaltered android from Google not Infinix blended).

On some devices you need root to change the IMEI but on Hot2, this can be done without root.

So in essence, not every phone needs to be rooted for you to tweak.

Missy, I can't seem to download the software update from the infinix mobility site instead it takes me to this page (image attached) each time I try to download. Thing is, my phone's rooted and couldn't install the recent update even after successfully changing Kinguser to SuperSU and thereabout unrooting fully, it still showed the “error” notif while trying to update almost half way through. Had to remove and reinsert my battery before it turned on after which I no longer saw again the update icon at the top bar of my phone. Any solution please?
