Now, how many SW'ners or northerners are trooping to your worthless and economically depressed SE?

Why do you people think with your anus instead of your brain..?

Is Lagos in the gully eroded land of South Beasts? SS has PH as the nerve centre, NC has Abuja, NW has Kano where do you have in South beasts? No where.

No wonder you keep running away from your cursed land on a per minute billing.

It is even laughable that a y1bo will be describing others using the word crime.

Y1bo is synonymous with baby factory, drug trafficking, prostitution, cannibalism, okija things, fake drugs, fake products, poverty, cain-like migration from their despicable land, armed robbery, kidnapping, rebellion against the state, economy saboteurs etc just to mention a few.

Typical yeebhoe, the gala selling never do well of Nigeria. The tribe popular in Asia for its cocaine smuggling business, products of baby factory, kidnapping, rituals, armed robbery and other cursed crime. You run away daily from your red mud region, you cant succeed in life without first escaping from your infertile red mud region. Its a curse to be yeebhoe.

1. The SW survived comfortably before oil was discovered.

2. The SW under the old western region built many historic "First In Nigeria" structures without oil money.

3. The SW built all the industrial estates in Lagos from Ikeja industrial estate to Matori, Apapa, Mushin and Ilupeju industrial and these industries are still responsible for countless jobs and a major chunk of Nigeria's industrial output, goods and services.

All before Nigeria became a country and infact, oil and affiliation with the rest of the country slowed down the SW because the SW achieved all the above in less than 10 years so imagine the SW today without the association and oil bargage.

That's nice, but the fact remains, Nigeria is only relevant because of the crude oil in the delta. Lagos itself has benefited from that. And to be honest, much of the historic firsts were under the British administration, not in independence when oil was already discovered.

Best brains indeed and the economy of osun state is the most bankrupted economy in Africa even though it was not marginalized and it didn't fight war, no environmental degradation to contend with and it is not bordered by extremists and herds men

Which war?

You mean Ile-Ife and Modakeke? 1998 to 2000? or you mean civil war of 1967 -1970.

Each time Igbos talk about the war, I always read with amazement at t he level of ignorance of most of your people. Do you think when the war was going on, other regions were enjoying? or you thought all the Igbo people suffered? Why didn't Prof Achebe die during the war and all his children and wife? They just wasted some fools among the Igbos and preserved the lives of their own people.

Some will say their people kept money in the bank? As at now, how many illiterates keep money in the bank let alone in 1967, how many Igbos could you truly say had a bank account then?

The only place where education was pronounced and where banks were functioning was South West because of Lagos colony and South West because Awolowo development strands. So, giving your fathers £20 pounds was even a cheating element over others because they did not keep money in the bank.

So, don't ever mention any war here again. Yoruba has been fighting wars before that time- Weti e of 1962, Ibadan and Ekiti-Ijesha people , Egba and Ibadan (Lisabi War), etc. Oyo empire fought up to Benin Republic, so what are you talking about. There is also Dan Fodio's caliphate war against Yoruba being fought by Ibadan people being led by Ogunmola to chase Usman Dan Fodio back to north is still fresh in our memory

You lost the only battle you fought- Biafra being conquered by Gen Obasanjo and Ben Adekunle with wisdom of Awolowo.

Nigerians love lying to themselves. They can't even read a comment properly. Any advantage any part of Nigeria including the east had before 1960 was of British manufacture. Don't 'beat your chest' about accomplishments made British mentorship. Look at other former colonised or occupied states like Singapore or even South Korea.

The answer has always been & will forever remain that while our grandparents were building houses in the cities, theirs were in hamlets living in huts with thatched roofs..

Their cities are new cities while ours have a lot of cultural values attached to them...

How many history books depicts life & living in enugu of 1920s?

Southwest is the reason Nigeria still eXist today. We reunited the country in 1970 through Adekunle and Obasanjo. The region with the lowest number of illiterates thereby boosting the overall figure for the country else would have been 80 percent illiteracy rate if hausa and igbo were to constitute nigeria alone.
We demystify education which is still a mystery in some tribes.
At least we are not terrorists and no yoruba man will be a suicide bomber.
please put down this your education stats,am yorunba and I will tell you our education standard has gone down the hill in the southwest, have travelled all through the states most elementary school pupils in primary 6 can't speak English, what I saying most SS3 students can't speak English.

So Britain gave South Western Govt free and compulsory Education in 1955?

So Britain built cocoa house? why didnt they build in the North and East too?

So Britain built the first international stadium called Liberty stadium?

So, Britain built all the industrial estates in the South West?
