Similar thing happened to me at Ikotun ( those idiots at Ikotun are thieves), I was to give a lecture at Oshodi and couldn't eat break fast at home, went to the Mrs Biggs at nepa bus stop, while going one of the police stopped me begging for a ride to the station which isn't far from where I was stopped, on getting to idiumu I was stopped by a danfo with this black wearing thieves inside demanding to search me. They thought I was a yahoo boy.

They got the tongue lashing of their lives. I told them it wasn't a crime to help one of them. They later let me go when they realised I knew the game that was played.

They are cursed. The other day I heard one lamenting how his children are no good. The boy is a fraudster and the girl has slept with everyone in the vicinity.

I lol in my mind thinking of the number of curses he had gotten in his career. You can't escape such volume of curses. It's a natural law.

While some policemen are doing their jobs pretty well, many are out to continue to soil their names. I still find it hard while the police does not have a plaincloth mobile monitoring unit to nip the excesses of these disgruntled elements giving the force a bad name.

On my way from Orilowo Ejigbo this afternoon, I saw a lady at the orilowo bus stop collecting money I mean bribes in a broad day light. I asked the tricycle rider that took me if ladies now act as tout popularly called Agbero. I was shocked when he told me the lady was a police officer. According to the Marwa man, they collect security money from each and every one of them on a daily basis without fear that they could be arrested. Such money according to him goes to the top hence the boldness at which they are collecting it.

I and the other occupants felt so sorry for what the police has become. I call on relevant authority if there is, to help arrest such wanton disregard to civility by a law enforcement agent.

I promise to capture her on a video or camera if she persists, and show it to the whole world. The task to sanitise Nigeria is a task for all.

I dont doubt your story.....Growing up in the early 90's, a police man stylishly implanted a cocaine drugs in my Dad's vehicle during a police routine check. Thank God my day was connected to the IG of police then, it would have being a different story.

My dad and I were coming back from office, we saw a police man that stopped us and pleaded to carry him to his check point, my dad being a kind man allowed him in and then told me to come and seat with him at the back seat so the official can seat in the front with the driver. We never got to any check point before the policeman said he's okay here that he should alight..

We dropped him, then we saw two bullets rolled down from underneath the front seat to my dads leg, we were not conscious, he was like what a pity this man forgot a bullet, we couldn't turn back and give the bullet back so he took it and threw it out from the window. We got to police checkpoint they stopped us, asked for some particulars, though our glass was tinted they asked for that too, the man checking the particulars insisted it was a stop and search we should come down, then I started thanking God that what if we never found the bullet..

They searched and searched and found nothing they made a signal and one guy went a feet ahead to make a call, came back annoyed then my dad knew what was going on, I'm pretty sure he never thought of the bullet then he said haven't you searched enough and then they let us go.. That was wen he said did they want to implicate me or what when i was thinking they forgot a bullet..
