The SGF, Babachir David Lawal, while at a thanksgiving function held in his honor, told a bold lie, before God and man. He claimed the national leader of the APC, Tinubu and Bisi AKANDE were responsible for his appointment as the SGF, by dropping his name to the president.

* Where and when did the Asiwaju meet the SGF, who was a member of the CPC
* When announced as the SGF, why didn't he attribute his good fortune to the Asiwaju

It is bad enough, that the SGF, brazenly, could lie right in the presence of God, but it is worse, that he considered Nigerians to be gullible, naive and amnesiac, to have forgotten his earlier interview, in which he attributed his appointment to his loyalty to the president. It is so surprising, that he thought he could fool Nigerians and change the past, by creating a fake feud with his boss

I saw a thread, that dealt with the comments he made. I was surprised that the posters took to the story, hook, line and sinker. To add to your information pool, did you know that the CPC, had a candidate that went up against an ACN candidate in the Adamawa state governorship elections in 2011. And both candidates defected from the APC prior to the march 28 elections.
