The difference between Lingard and Rooney was marginal.

There were many times in the past when Rooney had higher whoscored rating than Mata, Young, Carrick, RVP and you still told us he was the worst player.

I like this guy. I always prefer players who can take on than those who just pot. I prefer Arguero kind of player to Inzaghi.

Martial style is very similar to that of Sterling. His ability to add goals is what can make him a good striker like Aguero or Suarez.

If he could get us to the danger zone every 3 minutes, then one compose player may benefit from his pressing and then slot in, if he doesn't score himself. We need to play more directly, hope Gaal won't tame him to become too careful.
