In summary, the scene of the bombing stinks of a planned and very relaxed orchestration of the bombing .... In my opinion, there was either no or too little security around the mosque, which invariably points fingers at the mosque's authorities as either aiding in the bombing or being so careless as to warrant them some hours of questioning at the DSS headquarters

There's nothing fishy about he hole, it's simply an horizontal crater caused by an explosive ordinance.

The thread title says SUSCIDE bombing which means that the explosion occurred from a source controlled by a human who lost its life.

There's no recent patchwork on the wall, what appears as patches are the fingerprints of the bombs force as it strips the screed from the concrete block.

Bomb was most likely carried on the back of a person kneeling for prayer. You can see the blood splatters going out on a radius along the wall.

Also, the trajectory of the 'blood' on the wall seems too high to be from a kneeling suicide bomber ... blood and flesh from a kneeling suicide bomber will definitely also appear on the lower part of the wall, unless you wish to tell me that the bomb just blew the boko's brain and blood onto the upper part of the wall

Your manner of writing shows someone that is intelligent but the content of this write up shows evident lack of knowledge. It is a bomb blast (emphasis on blast), meaning the impact, once the bomb detonates cannot be ascertained. for instance, the direction of the blast cannot be determined (If you doubt this, light two identical firecrackers (popularly called knockouts or Bangers) record how they explode then play it back on a slow motion and tell me if they have identical blast pattern, even the ground where they would have impacted most would tell you the whole story). That the wall had the biggest impact means the uneducated suicide bomber was by the wall (which means there might be a remote chance of survivors if the blast radius is small). Had the perpetrator stood in the middle, he might have brought the building down.

The patch on the wall is as a result of heat generated from the blast. I cannot say much on your security alertness issue but be my guest as regards proffering a solution

The wall wasn't freshly patched up. The plaster around the hole fell off from the impact.

Someone will take how many hours to break wall, put explosives and cement it back with no one noticing in the morning when they get there?!!

How thick is a wall that you can hide explosives inside it?

Cementing the explosives in the wall will reduce the impact drastically which the bomber definitely didn't want

The bomber was obviously seated close to the wall or kept the explosives hanging from the wall. The former is more plausible as the hole is at chest level and you can see blood radiating out from the blast.
