Elampiro, can you help me with giroud's stats (goals/mins) for this season & last season? |

elampiro:it doesn't matter what happens to bastian. he was hauled off after 46 mins & united were piss poor in those 46 mins. if you recorded all the points of united players as at then, martial would be the worst player considering he cost us the penalty. however, martial played in the second half....he had time to redeem his poor performance of the first half and he scored....so he would automatically score more points than bastian who never had the chance to redeem his poor display in the first half. every action of these players is categorised into positive or negative contributions with 6.0 as the starting point. it's so easy to figure out.... You cannot compare Valencia who rated 8.1 to Lingard who rated 6.0.the issue isn't about valencia - it's about rooney vs lingard & rooney was the worst player on the pitch despite having 90 mins to redeem his piss-poor performance. lingard played better than rooney in that game. In my opinion 5.6 to 6.9 are in the same rage. But 8.1 is in a high performer rate, yet those kids said Lingard did better than Valencia. That was shocking for even mamaput to hear.keep your opinion in your pocket! 5.7 is better than 5.6. we are not talking about range, we are talking about who was better. As for the rating, playing first half or full game has nothing to do. It's your activity.if martial had been hauled off as at the time bastian came off, what do you think his point would be? won't it be less than bastian? martial made an error leading to a goal - his first half score would have been the lowest in the entire team. Schweinsteiger had a negative rating and that is it. I have seen Rafael, Jones, Fletcher left after 20 minutes of play and were rated above 6.0, 6.4 etc .[/b]he would have a negative rating. he got carded, he misplaced passes, made nonsense tackles and he played in a period we didn't have a grip in the game. his rating at half time would have been the average rating of our entire team..... it's not rocket science! |

Young to miss Sunday's match means Martial is likely to be on the left. Our midfield would make Toure ineffective if they play it quick. |

coogar:Vs PSV Luke Shaw played 23 minuets in the first half. Darmian 90 minuets Mata 90 minutes Martial 90 minutes. Yet Shaw was rated higher. I can show more examples but that will be too time consuming today.

raumdeuter:Yeah, yeah Egbon. Na since den i don respect una wey i meet for here, and most other people too. IMO, that someone disses you here dont mean they cant ask for your help or advice with real life issues, infact if someone uses that as a yardstick to judge my real persona, I'd see such person as being childish and petty. Before we chatted did you know how many times i called you names ( and you did same too). There are people like Debosky who are my e-mentors and yet we've had altercations in the past. That we have a go at Elampiro doesn't mean we cant accept it if he is right, and surely i wouldnt have issues with him if by chance there is a chanced meeting in reality - he's just another bro. That said, oya guys, sheathe your swords and lets talk some footie. |

coogar:I don checkmate you. I can still checkmate you further. Let me leave that for now. In your opinion, someone who played 90 mins should rate far higher than another who played just 23 minutes. Now I checkmated you, you fall back on performance, no longer time spent on the field. Ayagayagayagayo hei Ayagayagayagayo. ![]() |

elampiro:He might ve been MOTM. But he didn't mke any rampaging runs as u claimed. Costa vs Arsenal was a typical example of someone making rampaging runs down the flanks. Valencia on the other hand, did no such thing.... |

elampiro:you are not intelligent.... you checkmated yourself. i gave you a simple assignment. find a situation where player A & B scored the same amount of goals in a game. B came off at half time while A completed the game........and yet B scored more points than A. oya, go & do your assignment! In your opinion, someone who played 90 mins should rate far higher than another who played just 23 minutes. Now I checkmated you, you fall back on performance, no longer time spent on the field.it's not my own opinion, it's a fact! someone who played 90 mins should rate higher than another who played 23 minutes if they contribute the same positive action in a game. before shaw was taken off, he was by far our best player. he had 100% pass completion, united kept a clean sheet while he was on the pitch. he made one tackle & his general play was positive. how won't he have more points than darmian who conceded 2 goals on the pitch or mata/martial who had no goal scoring contribution in the game? sometimes i think you deliberately leave your common sense at home before coming to this board to post. had we not lost against PSV, we might have actually won the game cos he was the only one trying to make things happen for us that first half. elampawa, when are you going for your memory test? ![]() |

coogar:I can still checkmate you on this. But it will take time. We had a similar argument in time past when Kagawa was rated low in Madrid and I brought out other ratings to nullify this your time excuse. May be tomorrow I will bring this scenario where a player who scored was subbed and rated higher than another who also scored but was not subbed. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by coogar: 6:34pm On Oct 23, 2015 |
dopeJemi:well...... we were just exposing a white lie that was told by you know who....... ![]() elampiro:time spent is the biggest factor in these ratings. why? cos the time spent affords players who were poor in the first half to redeem themselves. of course, if a late sub comes on the pitch & bangs in a hatrick, he would score more than the ones on the pitch for 90 mins who contributed nothing.... however, if rooney bangs a hatrick in 90 mins & martial also bangs a hatrick and came off after 80 mins......rooney would score more points than martial provided negative actions like yellow cards, error leading to goals, etc are both the same for both players. May be tomorrow I will bring this scenario where a player who scored was subbed and rated higher than another who also scored but was not subbed.until then..... but for now, you have stalemated yourself. ![]() meanwhile - do you still think martial has made us regret selling danny welbeck? ![]() |

elampiro:Outpacing his markers isn't the same as rampaginh runs na.... Or are u gonna believe sky sports over wat u watched wit ur own two eyes?? The same Skysports dat said "Herrera should be grateful Rooney waited for him and the new signings to fit into LVG's FeeLawSawFee" In all my years of watching and reading abt soccer, i ve never seen anything more retarded dan dat statement. |

I don't really know why LvG has moved Martial wide to accommodate Rooney through the middle. This is the same Rooney who was entrusted with CF duties @ the start of the season but it became crystal that relegation would romance Man United if we dare continued that way. As much as I appreciate LvG's stabilizing work so far, I'm beginning to doubt his sanity. Herrera benched for Rooney - turns out it's just a leaf from an old fool's bag of tricks. Martial the productive goal getter now moved out wide for Mr. NoGoal NoContribution? Everyone get moved & yet nothing from the captain. I laughed hysterically when I listened to Scholes suggesting that Rooney struggles cuz there are no pace players around him in attack, in another breathe said enough chances are not created for him. We have been here before Martial came & he proved it all false, dispatching chances created for him, creating for other runners flanking him & even creating for himself out of nowhere. The Brits no get shame? If there's a "must-play" clause in Rooney's contract why can't it be renegotiated? If he's unwilling, Woodward can just pay him tha _fuck off! He can't be dragging us back like this, na him papa get the club? That old man called Doumbia sef, I thought he had any substance as a footballer. Whenever I saw highlights of UCL games of him trying to tear his shirts when he scored before Wednesday, i thought he was some kind of Drogba. I no sabi say na just old man wey no play with toys when he be pikin. |

He can't be dragging us back like this, na him papa get the club?once a contract has been signed, the club cannot renege on it's terms & conditions of the contract. any breach of contract & rooney's legal experts would take the club to the cleaners. we are a club of sentiments.....that was how we kept giving giggs games so he can catch bobby charlton's number of appearances. there's a force out there that are bent on letting rooney outscore charlton's club record. it's a clusterfück! |
