.the President is not shy around women.what people should realise is that, every religiously conservative people are not always the best of people when it comes with relating with the opposite sex.Also,the president may have the intension to appoint women as ministers,but state politics do not always favour the women folks.Finally, it is not 35%affirmative action in terms of appointment of ministers that we give us the desired change,rather its the capacity and honesty of people appointed whether male or female, that will give us the desired change.

These are not the kind of stories Nigerians voted for. Let's us bring the change on and leave this 72 years old shy or con or coy. He's too old for such debate. There are more sensitive issues that need attention.

Are we truly moving at all?

With all the women Jonathan packed in his government, what did it benefit the country? Is it the 13 billion pounds - theft Diezani or the allegedly very corrupt Okonjo oweala , or the Stella Oduah who spent public funds procuring two armoured vehicles? True governance has nothing to do with which gender is in power. What is more important is the personality and capabilities of the persons brought into power. Nigerians and their terrible unnecessary sentiments is what is killing them.

APC= Party of sexists

I think Nigerian women intentionally choose to go mia when duty calls even in the smallest class rooms in university, they choose not to go the extra mile with projects. The question is he sexist is not logical, the man is entitled to choices, his miserly 17% could not possible be proof that he is sexist.

All this bickering about a month important matter, to.make it worse the biggest offenders in the past administration and if I may add the main reason the goodwill the population had for GEJ crashed and burned over a 3 year period are all women.

1- Dezaini who at this moment is the poster child for corruption and all things bad that went on under PDP leadership over 16, and the failures of NNPC and our current financial difficulties

2- Stella Oduah who became the offending untouchable who flounted procurement process buying bulletproof vehicles at inflated prices , exposing the fraudulent waiver systems which helped the nation loose millions in uncollected customers charges and how it was abused during the AU first ladies conference

3- PEJ who was the catalyst that ended the 16 miserable years of PDP, may I requat we remove the 2years or so of Yar'adua who was a good man. She was ever present to fuel the flames and weep on TV. What the international community must think of the modern Nigerian woman is that of one corrupted by masculine desire for material gain at all cost.

4- The Okonjo Iweala who as coordinating minister could not develop and present people friendly policies, her offences are few at worst a moral dilemma

I believe you know the truth but due to sentiment you are second guessing. Left to him alone, he wouldn't have appointed any woman at all, he was forced to appoint the miserly 17% by the leadership of his party. If this is not being sexists I wonder how else we can explain it.
