how does he look bland? Is it the make up? Yea i have my own thoughts t0wards that. I hate the make up. Joker's meant to lo0k funny and terrifying at once n0t just dullish psycopath. But the joker's appearance m0stly is in the portrayal. But damn heath ledger's joker is... Anytime i picture that joker i just laugh and remember that scene christian bale was bullying him in the police stati0n. Lo0k at his face, laughter and all mhen that man did gr8. Well am n0t throwing jared leto out, i believe he would be gwud if n0t great cos he's d0ne his research just as ledger. He's immersed in the role and he's l0oking forward to it. I think he loves it. But my regret is in the make up. Can't they make him l0ok m0re like a clown?

The make up, the whole package nd the way he spoke.
Heath Ledger's portrayal really encompassed ingenuity, with madness in a funny but surreal way. The eye, the tongue those little details, the hunch at which he walked.
But lets see Jared leto's portrayal first, but that trailer Heath would have made a crazy but interesting remark there.
That line sounds so common to horror movies.
Well if Jared portayal is just average it won't be enough inspiration for a psycho to go murder movie audience, that's the only upside I see.

By the way, I'm impressed with the colours used in this trailer. It's almost like if I'm watching "Watchmen" again with very amazing cinematography. This has to be one of Synder's artistic masterpiece in movies.

how do u see the civil war trailer? I haven't watched it though. Jux love the way supes rem0ved bats' cowl and how he l0okd at it like it was n0thing to him. Like bats was inferior to him. Cavill really nailed it.

There's something about Marvel movies that fails to register consciously in my mind. This is their inability to dig deeper into issues and conflicts, they don't explore all possibilities, or would I rather say the storylines are weak? I may be wrong, but from my recent experiences from Avengers: Age of Ultron and Antman, I don't expect anything spectacular from Civil War. I would rather keep my fingers crossed though. I think the arrival of DC movies will push the superhero movie standards up. With amazing cinematography and deep storyline, I have no doubt that DC will change the standards completely. As it is now, Marvel is almost done with all their comic materials while completely adopting the same watery storylines in almost all their recent movies. Let's see how next year turns out though...

I seriously think Marvel cinematic are just average storytellers, they would rather use silly CGI to embellish their movies and stun their ignorant fans. They should borrow a leaf from X-men: First Class or even the first movie of Captain America. One funny thing I've noticed about many Marvel characters is that they tend to focus on their characters, while neglecting the world around them. There's actually no linkage or relationship with people in their cities/towns where they are based...This is very important. What is the essence of a superhero who can't actually interact with the people in his world?

True. Check out the avengers 2. No back story, no relationship whatsoever except for that silly child's game they played. After watching avengers2 and antman, you be like "what is this sh*t*
Even a marvel fan can't make excuses for those movies.

I think it has to do with marvel studios being owned by Disney. We all know how Disney waters down gruesome, dark stories and comics to rainbows and candy for kids and the feeble minded, the grimm brothers stories are examples. So marvel movies are made to be family friendly not dark like DC movies or the ones owned by Fox. Imagine if marvel studios owned the rights to deadpool, it won't be vulgar and violent as the one coming out next year.
