Use 11,000 and purchase Tecno Y3. Save the rest of the money.

Since my Tecno phantom battery could not get a replacement. Nothing wrong with phone, i have stopped placing emphasis of costly android phones. I use a Y3 now.

You can also UK used Sony Xperia at that budget.

Android phones and their funny names (Gionee,Tecno,Wiko,Gowin et al) can one ever get a good phone with 18k? OP keep that cash aside and continue saving, I advice u go for and iPhone even if it's iPhone 4s it's way better than this junks nairaland fellows are recommending, join the APPLE family and say farewell to this wacky phone brands called Android & Windows. The best phone I have ever used is the google Nexus 5. Now the 6th version is out. It's especially great if you like using google to search and you are or want to become tech savvy. It's battery life is also amazing and so is the camera. IT's thin and light and you'll LOVE ITT!!

Why dyu want to waste your hard earned 18k to buy a phone , that will be obsolete in 2 months, just buy a simple java phone na, lets face it 18k wont get u the phone u need to impress that girl so save your money for now, dont buy those chinko phones they re telling you they wont last , instead buy confirm uk or us unlocked phones they re the koko.

Nigerians are quick to make thoughtless decisions whenever they happen to lay their sticky fingers on meagre lump of dough. You see them rushing to acquire substandard products they can use for the 'now', they don't think long term. Later on, you see them creating compliant threads a week later to ask for help.

18k would only get him another bad case of wahala, good things don't come cheap in the real world. A patient dog eats the fattest bone as they say.

The latest and best phone for that amount if I may advice is Infinix Hot2 with 1G RAM,16G Internal Memory but if you can add about 2k to it you can get the one with 2G RAM,16G Internal Memory. I've bought it and for my colleague at work and we are all enjoying it.

Try Tecno Y6 and u will never regret. It is between 15k and 16k. don't be duped. Tecno the Best All the Way!!!!!

Gionee M3mini bro. Its #16500. Very nice phone. Only let down is that it's 1ghz but the chipset and the gpu covers the flaws. It has android 5.1 as the software version and it has 4G LTE. Its same size as Gionee P4 and Tecno H6. The battery is 4000mah. Checkout the official thread below

1ghz is the processing speed. Many phones boast of 1.3ghz. But the chipset in this phone reduces any form of lag... It's a great device
