Good morning my wonderful people, spent my first night in dubai already, I have got 11 more nights to go. I see so many tour guides and so many tour companies around. I will like to know if any one had used a very good, reliable and relatively cheap tour agent recently as i plan to start the tour with my family this morning.

What I can advice you is searching on google for tour guide companies, call them and compare their prices because almost all their charges are same.

Please am thinking of relocating to the uae for work, I have a friend there working too who convinced me to come over, she said it'll cost 550k for a 2 years visa with work, accommodation etc.
According to her, the visa will be out soon, before second week of next month. I already made an advance payment to them.

Don't risk your 550k to an Agent or friend. Get a visit visa and come search for job yourself.

I want to say a big thank you to all that have been of grate help by providing useful information here. I want to say I have learned a lot ever since have been following Thea thread. pls I have some questions;

I have been following this thread for sometimes now and I have been making arrangement to travel.,am coming with a three month visit visa and av got a friend that I will b staying with til I get a job, pls I want to know do I still need to book for a hotel since I will have to show evidence of hotel reservation at d airport? if no what do I tel those immigration officers.

secondly;is it possible for me to get one way ticket because some of d airline says return ticket since its a visit visa, how do I go abt this? .

firstly u need d reservation or dey(immigration officers) would bank on that.

Secondly: no airline would accept ur one way ticket on a visit visa.

I spend so much time trying to warn people about THIEF agent fraud.
I was too busy laughing at this sad person calling me an agent.

I asked the original poster if he had paid anything to his agent as he had no got a visa yet.

That's exactly the statement she made regarding the cash, said the agent might not agree to return the cash, that best option is for me to go on with the deal.
