has anybody noticed that this phone consumes data like crazy i subscibed to a 1gb plan and it only lasted for a week .i dont download anything just songs that are like 2mb or so the highest stuff i have downloaded is 45mb ..and the data just zaps this is the second time this is happening ..

the Glo 1k for 3 gig stuff involves you changing your IMEI to that of a BlackBerry phone. But instead of that why don't you sub for the Glo overload, N2,500 for 4.5gig, that's what I use, there are other options in the overload. But this one is the cheapest I think.


Note: You must be sure that Glo is strong in your area b4 getting the sim so as to enjoy the service.

bro if u the use android phone then 2.5k shouldn't be a problem to you n besides from her complaint I saw that she spends more than that in a month.

Sorry dear, so sad you experienced this...unfortunately, it is most likely not the phone, might be your service provider. However, you can go to Settings > Data Usage, the scroll down to see which app consumes most of your data. You can restrict the app to only use foreground data.

I hope you are not using MTN data promo?

Just bought mine, gold colour and it has 1gb ram. I thought the gold color comes with 2gb ram.....

I also realised that the phone lags a little when lots of apps are in the background (like 15 or more apps).

It lacks default voice recorder..

Onscreen navigation keys are not very fast in responsiveness

Also there is a problem with battery calibration.. That I think is a bug and an update can fix it.

I installed Nova launcher and the phone became more sweeter

You don't really need a sign up. Just go to that site, then you'd see a drop box, choose Updates and on the second drop box, choose Hot 2 and it would load the ROM. Download for tf card and also download the instructions... But you'd have to have Mega account

Dat phone is faulty ever since u got it or thereafter u installed the nova launcher its now working smooth without laggin just like default recommeded

Hey guys, bought dis phone yesterday on ma way home, I have a problem with d screen touch sensor, especially with typing, all d keys on d row where the backspace is ain't responding, I have to put do phone in landscape mode to b able to type dis, nd yeap, I can't return the phone, pls, is anyone else experiencing this or am I alone, any advice on how to solve this will b appreciated
