A fuel tanker fell early this morning and residents and every opportunity seeker are there scooping fuel, risking their lives. This could explode at any minute...and there's no sight of safety or security officers around. See more photos after the cut...

If some Nigerians can risk their lives like this just to scoop fuel i wonder what's stopping them to protest against bad governance from the local government,state and then the federal government.

It shows the level of grinding poverty our people live in and the extent they are willing to go just to survive. .. Lord help us.
