No SugarCoatings, No pancaking, No disguises, No sweetalks.
Here are raw data and statistics on Nigerian Oil Production.

Oil production Figures
National Production = 1,605,000 barrels per day (One Million, 605 Thousand barrels) as at timing of report.
Current Production hovers around 2.5-2.7 Million barrels per day

Total National Oil reserves 37.2 Billion Barrels
Producer ranks:

1 - Akwa Ibom
2 - Delta
3 - Rivers
4 - Bayelsa
5 - Ondo
6 - Edo
7 - Imo
8 - Abia

How much does each Oil producing state obtain from the 13% derivation formula?

Note: Cross River state's former oil wells have been ceded to Akwa Ibom after boundary adjustment. (Hence the blank)

Additional Liquid and Semi-liquid Hydrocarbon resources in Nigeria (Reserves)
Nigeria has 42 Billion barrels more of oil in the form of extractable Heavy Oils, from large bitumen belts lying dormant.

I'm not even mentioning Ekpeye and the rest.

For no other reason than economic punishment, deprivation, humiliation and marginalization, the Obasanjo Military Government set up the Justice Mamman Nasir Boundary Commission in 1976. General Obasanjo's targets were the Igbo areas prolific with hydro-carbon and Mamma Nasir boundary Commission, ironically, ignorantly and, of-course, unjustifiably used the Imo River as boundary between the present Abia State and Rivers State. It has to stated that both sides of the Imo River, that is Ukwa-west in Abia State and Oyigbo in Rivers State contain many oil-wells. But more oil wells are in Oyigbo area. Let it be said here that the commercial town of Obigbo, which was renamed Oyigbo after the Nasir boundary adjustment, is an Asa town.

Wait, how can you say anyone is denying igbos access to sea, if Igbo territory as we know it doesn't really get to the sea?
Igbos are like Edos, part of their territory is really really close to the sea, but they don't quite get there.

That was the Nigerian agenda Post civil war.

1. Deny Igbos access to the sea and oil rich Igbo speaking clans by introducing identity crisis where there was hitherto none.

2. After the 1970 careful removal of the oil producing Igbo producing territories from the Igbo speaking region of East Central, a further boundary 're adjustment would be done by Mamman Nasir commission that removed the few remaining Igbo speaking territories from SE in 1976 and added them to Rivers state.

To this effect, the three oil producing villages of Egbema town were carved out of East Central( Imo state) and added to Rivers state. The remaining 14 villages in Egbema town that were non oil producing then were left in East Central state. So you have a case of a single town now existing in two states just in a bid to make sure that no oil producing community was left in East Central.

The same happened to Ndoki and Asa lands, as the oil producing parts of these two Igbo speaking clans were carved out in 1976 by Mamman Nasir adjustment commission and put in the old Rivers state, while the majority of the non oil producing parts of Ndoki were left in the East Central state.

PH and Ikwerre, together with the Ekpeyes have always been in the Ahoada division under Rivers
Asaba was also under Benin division, while Kwale was in Aboh division under Delta
Infact, it was the Ndokis who were a bone of contention between Rivers and Owerri divisions who were ceded to the latter.

It was a mistake on my part. What I meant was that both Aba and PH divisions were under Owerri province

Can you elaborate how Oil in Ondo state is a rogue. Is it not their oil? Came here to learn please no insult intended.

"The war aim and (final) solution properly speaking of the entire problem, is to discriminate against the Igbos and in their own interest. Such discrimination would include above all the detachment of those oil-rich territories in the Eastern Region, in addition, the Igbos' freedom of movement would be restricted, to prevent their renewed penetration into other parts, leaving any access to the sea to the Igbos, is quite out of the question, "(Federal Nigerian Minister speaking to E. C. Schwarzenback, Swiss Review of Africa, February 1968)"

Now I know why you guys want your Biafra. Igbos are as pest just like their Northern states counterparts.

I agree that the Igbos might have lost some prospective land as a result of punitive action from the Nigerian state in the aftermath of the civil war (Hydrocarbon rich land for that matter), ESPECIALLY In Oyigbo and Egbema. But no further. Although East Central state and Rivers ate were both created before the civil war began, not After.

You just gave some people a sad ending to a happy day with the facts above.

Of worthy mention is the dude who goes about assuming dominance of Delta Igbo banks, Igbos rule ICT and whatnots.

I can see his engine has already began overheating.

For those who do not know, Folawiyo has already completed its Aje 4 and Aje 5 wells for production. So Lagos has already moved to the production class, no longer exploration class, and obviously no boundary dispute is involved with the beheading Igalas.

The Igalas say that a private refinery was commissioned in Anambra (Aguleri Otu), while the oil fields that were planned to feed the private refinery was actually located in the Odeke community of the Ibaji Igalas.

lool, isn't that just sleek?

Yes, I know, the Ikwerres were under PH division and the Ekpeyes were under Ahoada, but these groups were essentially Igbo speaking, and we're only separated from the rest of the Igbo nation because of crude oil politics. The East central Gowon created were made up of many Igbo speaking divisions as well.
Before PH division was created, Ikwerres and Etched were in Owerri division.
It was out of Owerri division that Aba and PH divisions were created for Ngwas and Ikwerres.

The 1970 division was crude oil directed.

The Ikwerres and Ekpeyes were never an Igbo speaking group. Its not like you lived in Rivers state or you are an Ikwerre..you are simply relying on lies told you by desperate Igbos looking to create a non-existent brotherhood with Ikwerres.

I'm not saying there are no shared words or traditions, neighbors everywhere in the world overtime share some words and form of tradition but saying Ekpeye and Ikwerre speak Igbo as their lingua is an attempt at mischief.

Please and please do not twist issues because of oil.

Same way the West industrialized Japan.

Eeven the iIndustrial revolution in places like the Uk was achieved off the back of Hydrocarbons like coal and the abundance of other NATURAL RESOURCES... For resource poor places in Europe, most of the resources they used in their industrialization stage came from places like Africa, South America, india , the Caribbean etc.
