Tip No.1 - The Food Cravings And Habits
What you crave to eat can be a good pointer to whether you are carrying a baby boy or baby girl:
- If you are craving for milk, meat, protein, cheese you are carrying a boy. You also crave for sour and/or salty food and have aversion for sweets. If you eat garlic, the smell would emanate from your skin.
- If you are rather craving for fruit than cooked food it is most likely you are carrying a baby girl. You would crave for orange smell and love orange juice. You suddenly develop a craving for sweets.

Tip No.2 - Listen To What Your Body Tells You
There are many telltale signs that your body sends you to indicate the gender of your baby. You can get your answer if you learn to read these signs:
It is a boy if:
- you have no morning sickness in the first three months of sickness
- you feel a heightened sense of libido in the first 3-4 months of pregnancy
- your hands are all the time dry

It is a girl if:
- you get morning sickness in the first 3 months of your pregnancy

Tip No.3 - The Shape Of Your Belly
This is an age-old method to find out whether you are carrying a boy or girl. Mostly used by gypsies and grandmothers it is said to be pretty accurate.
- It is a girl if your belly is high and roundish like a watermelon. When walking, the weight of the belly seems to be balanced more on the back.
- It is a boy if your belly is low and pointed. In fact, many would say the when a woman is carrying a boy her belly often looks like a baseball. When you walk it looks like all your weight is pulling you front.

Tip No.4 - The Gypsy Style Prediction
This is another age-old practice, which seems to predict the gender of your baby very accurately, even if it does not have any scientific reasons to back it up.
- for a girl: add the mother's age (completed) at the time of conception, the month when the mother is born and the month of conception. If the resulting number is even it is a girl. Example: Mother's age - 27; mother's month of birth - October (10); month of conception - June (06). The mathematical calculation is: 27 + 10 + 06 => 2+7+1+0+0+6 = 16. The result is an even number - hence, it will be a girl.
- for a boy: apply the same formula as given above. If the resulting number is odd, then the baby would be a boy. Taking the above example if the month of conception was July and all other factors constant, the answer would be 17. Hence, the baby would be a boy.

Tip No.5 - Read What Your Breasts Are Telling You
The breasts of a pregnant woman feel differently in the case of a boy or girl. You can know the gender of your baby from the way the breats feel:
- for a girl, the breasts enlarge heavily, they fill up in an appealing way and the nipples become lighter in color.
- for a boy, the breast fill up unevenly, often with the right breast bigger than the left side. The nipples become dark and very sensitive to touch.
