hi guys... I am a new guy here, but av been rocking uae thread for a while now.
am currently running a taxi job in dubai, though i just started and am looking at possibility of processing canada after i work for a year in dubai.

1) I am a degree holder from Nigeria (Agriculture).. pls, wats the possibility of getting a related job in canada?
2) I have UAE driver license.. Can this help me secure a job in canada?

Hello house...I think i finally got a partial-positive response.. I sent the professor my unofficial wes transcript, CV and my degree certificate..but he sent this bolded msg below..

I would like you to proceed with your application as your transcript is of an acceptable standard and I think your background in Paleontology and research interests are well aligned with my research. I think you would fit in well.
 
However, I need to reinforce with you that at present I have no money to support a new MSc student.
 
This may change in April 2016 as I have applied for a 5 year research grant, which if awarded to me would allow me to support 1 to 2 new MSc students.
 
We also have limited funds within the MSc program to offer graduate teaching assistantships (to teach laboratory sessions for undergraduate courses).

The Bleep Information form also asks for a 300-500 word statement where you tell us why you chose Brandon University and the Bleep program, and that you have spoken to me and that I have said I was willing to supervise your MSc project. I am happy to assist you with writing this statement.
 
There is a non-refundable fee for an application.
 
As you are a graduate of a Nigerian university it is my understanding that the English language test is not required. Please confirm this with Brandon University admissions.
 
Please do not proceed with any visa applications until you have confirmation of acceptance into Bleep and that I have funding in place to support your graduate position.

I'm just concern about the No funding stuff.. But my question is , would the admission letter be out before April .. All I pray for now is he should be granted his research grant , so that I'll benefit from it.. And God will make his grant to be approved..

Congrats you are lucky, I think you should accept it first and wait to see what other options would arise. I wish I got any at all. How much did the WES cost and how long? Also it seems the WES shot up your CGPA.

1)You cannot use a bank statement older than 1 month (this was my only reason for denial in my previous application). The VO will most likely assume you don't have the required balance right now that's why you are submitting an old one. Also ensure your cash inflow is greater than outflow on the New bank statement.
2) if you did not pass the medical, it will be ticked on your denial form
3) it is not too late, just submit, pray and be hopeful.
4) As for the SOP, personally I didn't put one in my application (I have a 2 year study gap) though I'm still a teenager, but if you want to put one, make sure you have a legitimate explanation for your study gap. The VO will be quick to deny is he suspects any dishonesty. But before you ask all these questions, can you state the reason you were denied because that will help you figure out how to repackage your application.

How were u able to come about the bolded? Is there somewhere on ur refusal letter this was stated?That you were refused based on the fact that you didn't have a more recent statement..Pls enlighten the house..

Your account statement matters if you are working. You need to show VO your personal financial status.
Tuition fee payment is school policy. Some schools want you to pay deposit and some want a term payment at a specific date. Contact your school to know what is up.

Concerning your first question, you can use any of them provided they have enough cash to fund your academics. Its not compulsory to prove the relationship but u can do it by submitting her birth certificate and marriage certificate. Birth certificate will show she's ur sister coz of d name on it and marriage certificate will show the man is married to your sister. I hope this helps.

Since my account statement matters cos am working. Does it matter how much balance I have on my statement of account? Will a balance of less than 250k reduce my chances. (Even when I have a sponsor)

... Guys be very careful when picking Agents or what not.... 2 students were refused at POE last month just cos the Agent they used gave them fake admission letters and also ate their tuition... Just cos ur Agent gave u admission letter and u used it to secure VISA does not mean u shouldnt do due diligence to contact the school urself to verify ur admission... Well... the got turned back and back in Naija right now...
