My only regret is that they even took that bipolar loud mouthed clown seriously as to dignify him with a response! FFK is proof that even Cambridge cannot instil common sense and morals regardless how much English they teach! You don't expect the foolish to have wisdom!

How are we even sure it wasn't FFK and his cohorts who orchestrated the kidnap to give the Fulani a bad name? They'd have known all along that there's a chance they could sever the Yoruba-Hausa ties if they can succesfully create a tribal divide. What better way to achieve such than to kidnap a Yoruba chieftain? That Falae may even have a hand in his own kidnap. It's naija, don't trust anyone.

That said they on their part should caution their members against ravaging people's farmlands. They should live and let's live.
Our leaders aren't helping the situation either, everyone has kept mum over the issue as though all is well. That's how they'll remain until it escalates into a full scale war.
Buhari should wage into the matter and ask them to respect the farmers and communities. I'm sure they'll lend hin listening ears as one of their own.

Rawani:
A Fulani socio-cultural association, Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore yesterday sent a final warning to former minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-kayode over insult on the Fulani race.

National president of the association, Alhaji Bello Abdullahi Bodejo gave the warning after consultation with the South-West organisations’ leaders in Abuja.

[b]According to Bodejo, Fani-Kayode have earlier described all the Fulani herdsmen as ‘tse-tse fly, locust, leeches’ and also called for the ban of herdsmen from Southern Nigeria.

The Fulani leader said further that if he did not apologise to the Fulani race, they would be forced to take legal action against him. “We want Femi Fani-Kayode to publicly withdraw his hate speech and wrongful criminal allegation against the entire Fulani race and us in particular, immediately to avoid legal action by us.”[/b

Bodejo called on President Muhammadu Buhari to ensure that peace and tranquility prevails in Nigeria and that public utterances by some Nigerian are strictly watch to avoid breach of public peace in any manner in the interest of the nation.

“We want FG to deal with anybody no matter highly place in Nigeria if they did not guide their utterances.”

How does it 'seem' to be by design?

For the umpteenth time, the point is not that the herdsmen's criminal activities are not barbaric, animalistic and condemnable, but such attacks should not be at the entire Fulani people like you seem bent on doing.

Statement below made by the late Ahmadu Bello makes us believe the coordinated Fulani attacks is by design

”The new nation called Nigeria should be an estate of our great grand father, Othman Danfodio. We must ruthlessly prevent a change of power. We must use the minorities in the North as willing tools and the South as conquered territories and never allow them to rule over us or have control over their future.” (Sir Ahmadu Bello October 12, 1960)

It is the height of hypocrisy and goal post shifting for them to release such wanton warnings to FFK and any other person who deems it fit to speak up.

Buhari once called the Federal government Boko Haram.

People have been massacred by the fulanis under bizzare exigencies, where were the members of this group to strongly condemn such?

Elrufai once posted this statement via his twitter account...

"We will write this for all to read. Anyone, soldier or not that kills the Fulani takes a loan repayable one day no matter how long it takes."

Where were this group to condemn such actions which clearly reeked of troublemaking than patriotism?

Ahmadu Bello of blessed memory was a regional leader, not a national leader and as such his statements were strictly in northern interest.

This does not however take away the callousness of the statement, and cannot be logically extrapolated to suggest co-ordinated attacks half a century later in a modern democracy.

Stop burying your head in the sand Mr Rawani. The Fulanis have continued with the agenda of Ahmadu Bello till today and that is why they are hell bent on finishing off the people of the MB. They also have their eyes on southern lands.

See them carrying military grade rifles in daylight and move in to wipe out villages at night. I smh..

Rawani, is it because a Fulani/Hausa man is in power that people's utterances should be gaged?

Is it because the north had gotten back power so the rest of Nigeria as well be gaged?

Is it because the a northerner is in power, the herdsmen can do whatever including kidnapping, rape, killings and lately declaration of Republic in another's land without a hiss?

FFK will only be coward to withdraw his words.
. I am not a fulani man neither am I a notherner, but let's call a spade a spade,d fact dt some bloodlething fulani heardsmen commited crime does not mk all fulani race criminals,it wl b unwise to castigate a whole tribe be it igbo, yoruba or hausa as criminals just because someone from d tribe commits a crime, overtime FFK utterances is more of a tale dn words from a leader,I dnt see him act and speak like a leader, great leaders of our time work for d unity of nigeria,FFk is neither here or there, today u see him play tribal politics, tomorow u see him play religious politics, great leaders look beyond all ds petiness, great leaders believe in project nigeria!

When will blacks, abi Nigerians, come to terms with the fact that people who share NOTHING in common cannot coexist peacefully? What's wrong with us?

FFK was right to have proactively called these folks the names he did......A few Northerner leaders have said worse things about others and the entire nation in times past. The Fulani herdsmen are a pestilence, and a horde from hell.

Apologise for what Let the fulani go and do their worst. Who a hell are fulani are they even Nigerian in the first place

Instead for their leaders to caution the useless tse-tse fles they are threatening. Fulani go to hell I repeat go to hell. Boko haram can not be threatening Nigeria and the useless fulani too.

Thise useless things in the North just want to cow everybody by force, well I do not blame them its Tinubu and the bastard called Amaechi that caused it.

Not only apology they should have asked him to kneel for them. Personally I'm waiting laying a trap for any fulani that mess with me ohhh ........... I reserve my comment it's too early in the morning. I just in a recent time lost my cool as per hausa and fulani despite part of my life was in that area I now don't buy them again not at all.

I pray PMB matter no give you high BP cheesy

But be that as it may, I don't think anyone hates their nomadic rovings as much as I do, I have had near misses on numerous occassions with them..

I've lived in this place for going on 2 decades now & also served in the far north so I see their destructive tendencies on a regular basis!!!

Imagine you being on 120+ & feeling cool nodding along to your music & just looking up to see a cattle drive in the middle of Airport rd EXPRESSWAY... lipsrsealed undecided

You think you are secured in an estate & see them driving cattles in your neighbourhood!!

Unfortunately that blasted constitution that gives unfettered freedom of movement ommitted "THE NUISANCE" clause (Fashola 2015)

However I attack issues & not personalities & know it is only true federalism that can solve this problem...

They leave their own farmlands & farmmers alone & bring their desructive selves to the NC & the south cos their culture & religion supports a nomadic lifestyle without putting into consideration that the others' don't have such...

They need to understand their rights stops where others begin....

The problem in this country is always 'our people' instead of 'Nigeria'. The current scenario justifies the saying, 'injustice anywhere is injustice everywhere'. When these Fulani Herdsmen were busy committing heinous atrocities with reckless abandon in the middle-belt, only the people of these states were crying with no help or policies whatsoever from the government, just piles of dead bodies. Now a shift has occurred as in the south west, all we hear is cry with one fanatical and extreme fundamentalist backing these barbaric acts just because he is one of them, a fulani.
Only God knows what region is next. A Fulani man is always on the move and like the elephant he never forgets nor forgives, and always prone to violence even on his own relative. The socio- political and economic life of the Fulani is a case study on its own.
One easily forgets that these atrocities can be done in any LGA, state or region and will continue if not curbed. The government has continuously shown weakness and complete ineptitude towards curbing this menace. What happened to grazing paths, border security and all those foreign solutions?
I believe the 2014 CONFAB tackled some of these issues and gave panacea, nobody is saying anything about implementing this document made by distinguished Nigerians. The government and the president have remained silent.
One shouldn't forget that these Fulanis will always be among us and with us, the decisions to be made on this issue should be for the good of all Nigerians be it Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo, Fulani or the middle-belters.

More importantly, Nigerians must learn to speak with one voice!
