I think it's high time we clarify d tribunal ruling incase of Wike and Peter side case. D jurisdiction of d tribunal was still challenged @ d supreme Court n yet final verdict was pronounced b4 d supreme Court ruling. Precedence has bn stated alrdy in ma opinion.

The entire trumped trial at CCT should be a nullity if Rule of Law is applied. The CCB violated the law in bringing this case to CCT.

All these lawyers need to go for deliverance from every spirit of "Orubebe". That is what is manifesting here and. I think the SANs among them should be stripped of the status. Bringing such disrepute to the a tribunal set up with constitutional backing. Even if the Tribunal gives its ruling, can't they appeal? All a carry-over of the era of impunity. NJC and NBA must make examples of these ones.

It's still same judicial rascality, though Wike eventually lost at the supreme Court, the tribunal ought to wait for supreme Court to pass the judgement. There is nothing like time wasting in the court of Law, we always want to twist law for our own personal purpose. It happens everywhere.

Buh there is a saying: justice delayed is justice denied. So time is factor, because with passage of time witnesses can even forget some incidence relating to the matter. Death of a witness can also hamper a case.

These bunch of Senior Advocates are clowns. I wonder how much Saraki paid them to make them treat a tribunal chaired by a judge with such contempt and disrespect. It is high time this discriminatory title of SAN is abolished in Nigeria. They arrogate to themselves so much pride and arrogance which defeats the purpose of the rank. They purport to be protecting the Supreme Court by disrespecting a properly constututed tribunal. They should know that the Supreme Court is well capable of protecting itself and does not need their patronising attitude in this regard. These clowns who represented Saraki attached so much importance to themselves that they openly threatend to report the tribunal chairman toi NJC. That report will amount to nothing and they know it. They are just blowing hot air. The tribunal chairman has conductd himself with so much decorum and dignity since the commencement of the trial of Saraki. He has shown strong character and has refused to be intimidated by the antics of this arrogant Senior Advocates who has chosen to bring the court and the tribunal to public odium and ridicule just to satisfy the whimsical interest of their desperate client. Section 306 of the ACJA,2015 does not permit stay of proceeding in criminal trials and the tribunal properly applied the law in refusing the application of these Senior Advocates for a stay pending the determination of their Appeal at the Supreme Court. They also know this but decided to engage in deceitful public show and shamefully playing to the gallery. Let them report the tribunal chairman to NJC and I bet they will cover their faces in shame at the outcome of their ill-informed petition. The tribunal chairman cannot be intimidated. These Senior Advocates should endeavour to preserve the sanctity of the Judiciary and the noble profession. The young ones are watching.

As much as l wish that Sakari be tried & sentenced if found guilty, l wish to say that their should be fair hearing & respect to the rule of law. If CCT can adjorned bcs of an appeal in the appelate court, wht stops him to adjorn whn the matter was taken to supreme court. CCT shouldn't have proceded on trial of the matter brought before supreme court. Moreso why is CCT in a hurry?. l think Saraki's legal team are right on this. CCT chairman should watch it so that he will not be seen to be bias the matter.

The reason the CCT is in a hurry is because justice delayed is justice denied

As for all of you who are talking trash about saraki n his lawyer who did d right thing I pray none of you would be in a situation whr you would be wrongly accused n wount be given the chance to air your opinion. If its right for huhari to appoint all north n claim its in line with federal character it would only be fair to allow the case untill d supreme court rules. I rest my case.

the poor men on the street that where accused of stealing 10,000 naira, do not have the opportunity to go to the supreme court , pls quote the section of the constitution that the cct chairman has contravened. while his he afraid of the trail for crying out loud.

"law and practice so as far as am concerned there is no Tradition in Law, Law is Law because it has always been their crook tradition does not make it a Law....Here is the Law CCT Chairman base his ruling.........The CCT chairman did not give his ruling from abstraction. He relied on an updated Nigerian law which says such trial can go on!

Just that if a judgement emanates from it, it will not be executed until the higher court dispense the issues before it.
